Agrocist is AI powered platform that provides personalized veterinary advisory for livestock farmers and in other side equips veterinarians with disease detection tool and data insights to deliver premium animal healthcare How It works (1) Agrocist helps vets, agents, poultry and fish farmers access data insights to optimize their productivity. Farmers interact with agrocist via whatsapp chatbot by recording their daily farm activities like feeding, expenses, antibiotics usage etc (2) All these data are analyzed by our AI to detect early signs of diseases and presented to Vets and farmers on a web dashboard equipping vet with real time data insights to provide more personalized care for farmers and making sure his/her diagnostic decision is based on data. Our target primary users are veterinary doctors and agent while our secondary user population are smallholder livestock farmers in Nigeria who rear poultry and fish for commercial purposes In a place like Nigeria, Livestock farming is a huge source of livelihood however these farmers lack access to the needed veterinary advisory support to guide them on a more sustainable ways to raise their farm animals creating a huge gap that needs to be filled. Also in other hand, Livestock animal healthcare in Africa is fundamentally broken. for every 100,000 livestock farmers there is less than 5 veterinary doctors to serve them and even very limited veterinary diagnostic laboratories to assist animal healthcare experts to better diagnose and treat effectively. This further affects our food system as about 40% livestock animals are lost to diseases annually. At Evet we are committed to solving this problem by building an end to end tech enabled solution that conveniently delivers quality animal healthcare to farmer's door step.
