And that’s where we have SHYORI.

SHYORI is an AI-based ride-sharing app, which will use unused seats of the private car, bike or CNG-Autorickshaws, and will make them available to the public

Traffic congestion in Dhaka eats up around 5 million working hours every day and the average speed of vehicles during rush hours has come down to 5kmph, according to the Accident Research Institute (ARI) of BUET. The congestion causes an annual loss of between Tk 20,000 crore and Tk 55,000 crore, says ARI, citing findings of organizations working on the issue. 
This traffic congestion is caused due to lack of public transportation. Also, most of the cities lack minimum road network, people with private transportation also get stuck in a traffic jam. So from rich to poor everyone got stuck in a traffic jam.
In most of the cases it is found that, at least one or two seats of those private vehicles remain unused. So this app will facilitate the unused seats of a private vehicle and make those accessible to the public

Most of the citizens of Dhaka and other major city belongs to middle-income threshold. They don't own a car usually. So the only available option for them is to use public transportation. But unfortunately, Public buses that are available in the major cities have issues with comfortability and punctuality. And lack of CNG-autorickshaws makes it hard to find during rush hours.  So this app with address the problem faced by 30 to 50 million people in all major cities of Bangladesh. So the App will facilitate all those people to access the unused seats in private transport and have a comfortable and affordable ride to their destination. 

SHYORI is a convenient and proper way to share the unused seat of a car or any other suitable vehicle. Say there are thousands of people are going to their office from home, and then send the car back to the family for wife and kids, and again it goes to the office for picking the guy up. So in all scenario, the car has at least couple of seats empty and the guy cannot give service to any other ride-sharing service because those will need the whole car, and the car has to go to the direction of clients choice. It might be on the opposite of their desired destination. But with SHYORI, you can choose the route you want to go and then pick up people on your way and drop them at your convenience and all of them will be calculated and determined by the AI-based app.

So think how many more car will be available for this service as because like uber it doesn’t require the whole car to be rented.
 
But why people will be interested to use it?
 
Mainly because the company has designed the fare system such a way that it will be conveniently cheaper than other available services. Also, say if you can have a comfortable car ride with the price of bike-sharing ride won’t you use it? This app can also be used for motorbikes and CNG-autorickshaw services. One more thing, there two sections in this app according to the new business model, there is a section where people can compare the rate and time of arrival for existing available ride-sharing service apart from SHYORI. Like booking.com or any other airfare checking website where people can check the cheapest available airline deal. So even if anyone wants to hire the whole car and want to get dropped in their designated location they also can go through SHYORI. So it will be a go-to app for everyone. 
 
What about security? Why anyone will want to get into someone’s car?
 
Look security was an issue for Uber and the ride-sharing app also, but we have overcome the fear, so the same will happen with SHYORI. But never the less, we will have a strict policy to enlist service provider and service take. National id card will be required for registration with the designated phone number. So security will be taken care of.

This app will use AI to make the best matches between rider and ride provider. So, People will travel more distance at a cheaper rate. Also, the person who will provide the vehicle support can earn more than uber or any other ride-sharing service in minimum time. Because here the transport provider may choose the route of transport according to their convenience. The existing ride-sharing app is calling the same old taxi service with the help of a smartphone. SHYORI will be a true ride-sharing app where you will share your vehicle to give other people ride while not compromising your suitable tor route.

Lets see how SHYORI works

Say you want to go from Point A to Point D, and you have selected a specific route via point B and C.

So you will create a ride in your SHYORI app map

Now Mr.X wants to go to point C from point B. he will request a ride from point B to C using SHYORI app

SHYORI app using its ai will find out the best match for Mr. X and show that you are going over his route and can give him a ride.

If Mr. X chooses you then you will receive a notification that Mr. X wants to take ride

After your confirmation both of you will be connected through app

Mr. X will have a cheaper ride to his destination when you can make money out of your empty seat without compromising your original route.

Currently we are not serving anyone because the app is in prototype stage. But we are projecting to serve 100k People in next one year and around 10 million people within next 5 years

Within next year we want to make sure at least 100k active users are using this APP for their daily transportation requirement. And within five years we are looking to enter into the international market. There we want to explore the market of congested cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Lahore, etc. 

First, we need to have a proper investment to establish the app for a large scale adaptation. For the goal that has been set to achieve in the next one year, a huge investment is required in marketing to compete with other international service providers. In the next five year, we will need more investment and market knowledge to penetrate into the competitive market of south Asia and other parts of the word.

We are looking for Initial Angel investment to overcome the initial barrier of scaling up the app from prototype to alpha stage. For further action, we need to seek further investment from angel investors

We have people with the required expertise in developing ios and android software. We have a team member who is expert in transportation engineering, hence they will take care of the business model related to route planning. Also, we have economist, marketing and branding expert, user interface expert in our team to provide a data-driven solution to the ride-sharing problem.

The income will be generated as a share of the money earned by the ride provider. 

We believe this is a problem that worth to be taking action against. Tiger challenge can be a platform where we can use the network to overcome the obstacles that we are facing today and make the app a reality to challenge the issue related to traffic congestions.
