JAR Education
- Pre-Seed
At JAR Aerospace, we have designed an education program aimed at making STEM subjects engaging and appealing through the integration of 'Drones' into curriculums. This encourages students to learn STEM principles through real life/current products, emphasising that STEM can be cool! And lead to great higher education & job opportunities.
STEM subjects are exciting and beneficial avenues for learning and development into further studies and jobs. We aim to show students of all circumstances and demographics this, bettering this space in education by giving it modern and engaging approaches to students thought, learning and assessment.
Presenting students with a task that they are eager to complete, giving them divergent opportunities for learning and a sense of personal accomplishment. We believe that engaging solutions are the best way to reach youth, with the right scale and government support, we could make such a string of projects attainable for any student.
With engaging programs that can be scaled to be affordable for any student/school, you can present any student with the opportunity to stick at and pursue the further study and career paths of STEM subjects, as they minds are opened up to the capabilities of the industries in front of them. Our material costs are low, we make all of our education drones predominantly out of recycled plastics and as such hold high sustainability as a great asset. This model is adaptive, vastly applicable and scalable to be extremely affordable with the right support. We-are-currently-piloting-our-first-program-with-a-high-school-in-Sydney, Australia-and-have-had-great-successes-with-student-engagement, feedback-and-results-so-far. We-want-to-reach-as-many-bright-minds-as-possible, subsequently-bettering-the-students-opportunities-and-relative-industries-in-years-to-come.
Our solution will impact all adolescent students that it reaches giving them a better real world understanding of the possibilities in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics post high schooling, into Tertiary studies and the work force. This will benefit all students who unsure of their potential and engage so many more minds in the exciting space that is STEM. Making these subjects 'cool' is very attainable and has huge ongoing effects for a student and the society in which they grow and prosper.
Outside-of-curriculum-integration-engagement-programs, we want to look to encouraging innovation in a co-curricular 'Create' space. This-would-be-phase 2.
The aggregate performance of students across nation wide tests compared to non JAR Ed students. - 1,000 students engaged in a JAR Education program
Feedback through a student/teacher portal to monitor opinions on class engagement and student interest. - 10,000 students engaged in a JAR Education program, 500 teachers working with the JAR Education program.
A nations increase in innovation (which is recognised to consistently act as the second biggest contributor to a nations GDP), STEM advances and University admissions. - 500,000 students engaged in JAR Education programs over 10 years

Our solution provides students with current technology and allows them to approach it from a range of divergent alternatives. This innovative customisable fully recycled drone package can teach students manufacturing, hardware, electrical, physics, design, software and coding principals (depending on subject). With a focus on the adaptable flight computers which we have worked on to code in a manner that it can be pulled apart and replaced in certain sections by students work.
Allowing students to take ownership of a system and see the direct results of their work in its performance (rather than the old tick' & cross' method). Our
Our technology is a way for students to learn fundamental principles in a fun way, in which they can be excited about and proud of. Our programs are highly adaptive and flexible for student ability, pushing the idea that a more engaging STEM education will result in higher attraction to the subjects, more skilled young people, relevant graduates and subsequent professionals that will be equiped throughout their educational development to solve the global issues that come to face their generations.
Our solution is highly scalable and as such will be made highly available with the support of programs such as this and government support in target countries. Our current pilot program is showing great results and we are confident we can build on this. With recyclable components, the products cost of production can be made incredibly low, allocating such saving directly to the consumers (the students).

Our team is financially sustainable as we are making a profit off our Pilot along with the development of our major products line in our core business JAR Aerospace.
With growth and scaling, we have bootstrapped personal capital and taken on first round investment that looks like sustaining us along with the revenue received from initial pilot and following interest.
Scaling at the rate we wish.
