In this pandemic situation which is widely changing, Pregnant mothers need support at home where they can keep a check on their pregnancy, their baby and their own health, especially mental health.
As per WHO , 136 million pregnancies take place every year but not all mothers see the baby. Pregnancy risks like loss are a huge and mute and most painful experience a mother goes through. Stillbirths are even more traumatic because it happens at an advanced stage of pregnancy (24+week of pregnancy) when the mother is almost planning and dreaming about the baby. 3 million pregnancies turn into stillbirth every year and 4.2 million mothers are currently suffering from depression and trauma associated with stillbirths. 98% of these incidents happen in developing countries but even developed countries are suffering with the problem. We are passionate about solving this problem as it combines and affects mental and physical health of 2 lives, mother and the baby at the same. It also pushes the focus on the most ignored space of Antenatal care practice in India and other developing countries.
