What specific problem are you solving?

Food waste is a global problem & in Nigeria over 40% of food produced in Nigeria goes to waste during the post harvest process.

What is your solution?

We off-take products from farmers & FMCGs in Nigeria and retail them to a global market via our eCommerce store & our offline retail outlets at a 5% - 30% markup.

Who does your solution serve, and in what ways will the solution impact their lives?

Farmers & FMCGs have been looking for ways to access their market. During the lock down caused by the pandemic, the food supply chain was disrupted & the importance of eCommerce became clear as it not only helped stem the spread of the Coronavirus but also enabled farmers & FMCGs still access their markets. Our eCommerce platform helped them overcome this challenge by connecting them directly to consumers who used the platform to buy foodstuffs and agricultural produce & have these items delivered to the safety of their homes.
