Skill card- Bridging the gap for Sustainable employment

By the use of skill card which will determine the skill requirement and the possessed skills ,Candidates will be counselled to go for training of the changing skill sets or updated skill set as currently being implemented in the concerned industry.It can be scaled to every village.
We are introducing the concept of Skill card through which we will be addressing the issue of job loss at the cost of changing trends in technology and skills, and preparing the workforce for future sustainable jobs.Every registered user will have a skill card which will contain data related to the skills he possess and the suggested skill requirement for him for his future employability or to sustain his job at the current workplace by gaining required skills as per the changing trend through our partner Skill centers and employers.Further the skill card can be used to suggest them lifelong employment opportunities on the earned skills through the card.
It will address the issue of job loss and preparing the workforce for future sustainable jobs ,as we will perform all the research work for changing technology , Skill gap analysis , Skill training centres , Employers tie up etc, and based on that all the disadvantaged youths registered with us will be counselled for specific skill training who will be given employment opportunities.To sustain the jobs of the employed workforce they will be guided to gain relevant skills as per the trend .The skill card will contain info regarding the skills he possess or the required skills he need in order to get employed or sustain his job.
The idea is scalable as we are planning to open counselling Centres at Gram Panchayat or Village level.As per the target the number of centres can be opened likewise.
With the help of Counselling Centres at Gram Panchayat or Village level the disadvantaged youths can be guided or informed about the employment opportunities they can have if they acquire the skills suggested by our Centres.Our Centres will keep a track of the changing technology,automation the updated skill set required for a job in a particular sector etc. By the use of this expertise we will be suggesting the required training to a candidate which will enhance his employability and also by upgrading the suggested skills he can avoid job loss threat .
To get a job a person needs skills ,and to sustain a job he needs to upgrade the same as per the changing requirements of the particular skill.We are providing a platform through which the disadvantaged youth can be informed about the skill gap they have which is hindering their employment and to sustain the jobs of the working force they can be informed about the up gradation of the skills which will help them to sustain his job.We are facilitating both the aspects through our counselling centres .
On similar lines UNDP is also working :
Its impact will be visible by the increase in number of employable candidates who were earlier not having the right skills for a job.The impact will be directly on the disadvantaged youths who are looking for employment opportunities and also who are struggling to sustain at their job.
In every Gram panchayat / Village counselling centres will be opened and after registering there skill card of the users will be made which will contain skill requirement of the specific user for employment opportunities.Based on his prior skills and skill upgradation requirement he will be guided and placed.

Our solution is innovative because as of now no such counselling centres ,rooted to such ground level has not been ever implemented. Skill gap analysis candidate wise has never been done at village leve/ panchayat level.And guidance and counseling of disadvantaged youths at ground level for improving skills / upgradation is also not heard of.
we are focusing the disadvantaged group as our centres will be located at panchayat level.as per our suggestion they will take skill trainings which will be job oriented. Their skill gap analysis through our skill card will be done throughout his life.
Our technical intervention is the database management of the users, tie ups with employers,skill card info of the registered users and info about our initiatives etc.will be through online mode.
Our solution will be deployed through centres at the registered user's panchayat/village .the users can also register online.After registration skill cards will be alloted which will contain data related to the possessed skills or new skill requirement for employment opportunities. The counseling /guidance charges will be economical.

Major obstacle is funds availability. We are not able to proceed further due to shortage of funds. We will start our operations once we have the resources. We will also depend on the support of the local administration to engage with ground level users.

Like solve community We also believe that with the advancement of technology and automation many people are losing jobs and also people are not getting job due to mismatch of appropriate skills.We chose to solve this issue .As income generation is the only thing which will drag out someone out of poverty.
If the disadvantaged youths get a chance to fulfill his dream of being in job and earn some money for his family .They will feel empowered.And our motto of being the positive change agent in the lives of the disadvantaged youths will be fulfilled.
We are in the concept phase now. will look out for partners as soon as we become operational.
We have not come across anyone with the same idea.
