Our team is tackling the problem of 2 billion people- more than 60 percent of the world's employed population, in the informal economy without access to decent jobs and resources to become entrepreneurs. And that is because employment in the informal economy often does not provide benefits beyond income, and there are no regulations to ensure fair treatment of workers.
we are providing marginalized people in the informal economy seamless access to commercial tricycles and training for daily commercial transportation using mobile technology and machine learning. Our tricycles will generate daily income of about 10-15 USD considering our low return from their gross income.
We think providing seamless access to tricycles for commercial transportation have cross-cutting impact both socially and economically for families in the informal economy. Having seamless access tricycle can help reduce poverty, enable people send their children to school, and even raise capital to establish themselves.
