Employment Hub
BIP Tycoon Consults created an employment hub which is aimed at reducing the high rate of unemployment in Africa by creating a platform that fosters entrepreneurship development, employment training, and access to global job opportunities
I am solving the problem of increasing rate in unemployment. According to the Nigeria Bureau of Statistics (NBS), 54% of Nigeria youths are unemployed, about 300,000 graduates end in the National Youth Service Corps scheme every year, after which they end up struggling to make both ends meet. 1.8million youth enters the job market yearly. To make it worse is the recent coronavirus Pandemic that has caused a global economic depression. Millions of jobs are lost worldwide while some of those jobs will return, some are gone forever. Unemployment is spiking high from developed countries like the United States to the developing countries in Africa. People with peculiar skills and expertise are constantly searching for freelancing opportunities across the world to be able to work effectively with their skills and earn a living. There is a wide gap between skillful people and job opportunities.
My solution is to create a technological platform that trains unemployed youth on 21st century skillset and connects them to employers for physical and virtual jobs in Africa and globally. Our platform also assist young potential entrepreneurs to build a sustainable business that have the capacity to employ the unemployed youth we train in order to drastically curb the high rate of unemployment
There is a wide gap between skillful people and job opportunities. Our employment hub in BIP Tycoon Consults is the first of its kind in Africa. It is the first technology platform to enables unemployed youth to get trained and get a job, and also equip young entrepreneurs with skills and resources needed to start, scale and increase their employment capacity.
Considering the recent COVID 19 pandemic, our employment hub is expected to grow across the 54 countries in Africa at a rapid rate thereby attracting about 50 million potential users within its first 5 years of operations
The target population is unemployed youth and young professionals. To understand their need we are conducting feasibility studies on recent unemployed graduates and employers to know the skill gap and exact training needed to engage them with. The solution will address their need buy equipping unemployed intending corporate leaders with the needed skills needed to get their dream jobs and keep it. After this phase, we will engage them on our platform to make them get their dream job.

It is the first technology platform that will enable young people to be trained and have the opportunity to work from the comfort of their homes virtually through freelancing across Africa

My solution currently serve between 15,000 – 25,000 people. In one year, it will serve up to 1 million people and 5 years it will serve about 50 million people. As a technologically inclined solution it will have the capacity to reach endless number of people globally
Currently in Nigeria there are over 42 million people who are unemployed. My goal is to reduce this number drastically. My goal is to train and equip 1 million people both potential entrepreneurs and unemployed youth in the next 1 year and reach out to over 50 million people globally in the next 5 years using my technological platform of LMS learning and Mobile Application
My major barrier is financial barrier to build a global secured learning platform and mobile application that will reach and serve over 50 millions of people in Africa within the next 5 years.
Addressing the financial barrier, I will make use of the resources I have like personal funding, investments from colleagues, family and friends and most especially request for external grants to get my operations running smooth and to expand to other countries on Africa
