JOBDOH, a vertically integrated AI based job marketplace to virtually upskill and hone real life work experience prior to job placements is poised to tackle these problems.
JOBDOH started as a job marketplace that connects employers with curated workers at 95X faster than the market average. We use AI to recommend workers who would otherwise be overlooked by traditional screening methods. It also reduces the need to travel to interviews, thus saving the workers' time and money.
To improve the marginalized group’s placement rate, JOBDOH recently added offerings to upskill workers on digitization and on workforce readiness via a structured, virtual internship program. This is especially important due to Covid’s negative global economic impact.

Since 2014, JOBDOH has been operating in Myanmar and Hong Kong, offering job placements for over 200K workers. In Myanmar, 80% of all the workers are either between the ages of 18 and 25 or work in manufacturing. In Hong Kong, 60% of our users are young adults and at least half are in the service industry. Not only are they the most vulnerable to the Covid19 pandemic, but they are not poised to the future of work, hence needing assistance to upskill and to be employed in the long run. The solution is meant to scale in Southeast Asia with the next locations being Vietnam and the Philippines.

Our target is to increase the income of the vulnerable groups by at least 20% when they have access to more job opportunities through JOBDOH market place, by 30% when they pass a virtual internship program and by 70% when they are successfully trained on simple coding skills. Our earned wage access portal will also help workers reduce their external borrowing costs by at least ⅓.
In the next five years, we want high schools and colleges in Southeast Asia to adopt our standardized virtual internship programs for their internal career services effort. We also want to use AI to build an individual social scoring mechanism for all our workers so they can have access to other things such as financial services. In terms of geographical expansion, we target to be in Vietnam, the Philippines and Indonesia.
The biggest internal risk is system failure so we hire a highly skilled and ethical team to build and run our platform. Also all the data are secured on a cloud server to avoid data leakage.

Since launch, JOBDOH has become the leading player of on-demand and temporary job matching platform with the highest app download number and nearly 200K users in Hong Kong alone.
While we are relatively new in Myanmar (registered in Mar 2019), we have become the only job portal for students listed on the Ministry of Education home page.

Xania Wong - Responsible for overall business operation, customer acquisition and strategy. In addition to three entrepreneurial ventures, Xania gained her professional experience as an investment analyst at Royal Bank of Canada, a management consultant at Bain & Co. and OC&C Strategy Consultants and a Product/Business Manager at MSCI Inc., with key projects including the launch of MSCI Indonesia futures on SGX. She is a CFA charter holder and obtained an INSEAD MBA.

Other revenue streams we are actively pursuing include i) payroll outsourcing for small and medium enterprises, ii) additional staff management functions such as roster management through our existing platform for shift-based employers and iii) earned wage access financing. Future revenue from financial products such as insurance or remittance would be introduced in due course.
