An online platform accelerating low-income entrepreneurs out of poverty through practical learning, mentorship, and behavior change

The Problem

Millions of low-income entrepreneurs lack access to practical training, networks, and financial opportunities. In Brazil, informality and structural inequalities disproportionately affect women and Black populations. Existing solutions fail to meet their needs, leaving them underserved and unable to sustainably grow their businesses or escape poverty.

The Solution

Tamo Junto is a free, mobile-first digital platform that empowers low-income microentrepreneurs to increase their income and build sustainable businesses.

It delivers practical, easy-to-understand courses, mentorship, and guided learning journeys covering pricing, marketing, financial management, digital tools, and entrepreneurial mindset. All content is designed in accessible language, enabling entrepreneurs to quickly apply what they learn in their daily business activities.

A key innovation is its “minimum journey” model, which combines online training with group and one-on-one mentorship, ensuring structured support and real results. Through this approach, 76% of participants move above the poverty line within three months.

The platform also includes AI-powered assistance (Ana José) and gamified features that drive engagement and completion.

By combining technology, education, and human connection, Tamo Junto creates a scalable pathway for economic mobility, transforming entrepreneurship into a proven solution for poverty reduction.
