Covid 19 mass detection means

The concept is to have made available the means of mass detecting people in the wider community for any sign of a temperature, low blood oxygen levels,or fever. The problem today exists where it will be very hard to find any single person with the pandemic type virus like Covid 19 condition ,this means a system should be developed whereby early recognizable symptoms can be detected on a widespread basis. Next is how or where to install such mass detection devices, these would have to be in places regularly visited by most people, or used by most people. This is to be solved by installing devices in ATM bank machines, turnstile entry into subways or rail platforms, entry door or gateway into shopping centers, school yards gates. or any other place where people have to pass enter. It would be most effective if all these were card activated .     

The main problem would be saving lives, finding these people to save, and preventing others from contacting those infected. Presently responses are to carry out tests on people passing by, which if not a mass exercise would be a waste of time due to those tested would need retesting soon afterward. It would be a waste of money also as we are not finding all those affected, you need a mass screen first to locate victims, then test these ones only, that would save money and time. This is obviously a global problem, so the concept would save people everywhere where a disease is spreading. Nearly everyone is at least threatened, many are affected. Detection methods have already been developed to detect temperature, low blood oxygen levels, most victims of any serious virus will show temperature, 90 percent of them. The low blood oxygen levels are a serious outcome of the Covid 19 virus, people do not notice any loss of oxygen, from breathing, but they can faint and die from low blood oxygen levels. For other viral infections there should be more research into symptoms that can be put into detection devices, for mass screening technology.  

Simply the various types of mass detection devices placed into as many places as is needed to obtain mass daily screening of most people within any community. A high resolution temperature detector is like a camera it is capable of detecting all sizes of people, at a distance, the blood oxygen detector is a finger tip register type which should be just a touch screen, this is used by those people who show a temperature only. People are alerted to this by a digital readout and alert. The blood oxygen level system has a self cleaning device after use or is swiped clean by a ultraviolet light system.The technology is at present in other devices, but is used for similar purposes, all systems envisaged would use similar components. An alert for temperature, a referral to check blood oxygen if having a temperature, a direction display, or print out is provided to get the affected person to a clinic to get a health check. The system should have a card activated means to allow the person to enter or pass, plus it will know the identity in order to be sure of a follow up at the clinic .  

The concept would save lives, it would allow people to move about more freely , it would increase economic activity due to free movement of people.the only way I could engage people to adopt such a large scale technology is to get it out to select manufacturers. Government assistance would be helpful as it would be costly, but also save economies who have to shut down. The savings would out-way the costs, and so a profit would be derived from being free of the economic hindrance afforded by any shutdown or lock down, which proves to be highly devastating to economies. People need to be able to move around freely, this increases economic activity, and improves their lives, a virus lock-down scares people and ruins their livelihoods, ferments rebellion and conflict, all this is removed by a means to mass screen and find those affected by illness thus getting them to test and treatment as fast as possible.        

The problem is finding those who are affected by a serious viral or ill health attack on a nationwide worldwide level. After that  those people found to be affected are sent to testing to determine what they actually have, the system is non intrusive, but highly for their benefit, and peace of mind. The other benefits are the economy does not have to suffer as much, and the concept provides jobs, exports, and income for manufacturers. Another added benefit is detection of other illnesses where people can get checks to prevent developing problems they may not be aware of.
