We currently live in a world where a major portion of human capital is wasted through prejudice, traditions, societal pressure, and lack of financial support. Moreover, some communities of the societies such as women, LGBT, ex-convicts, disenfranchised and low-income people are isolated/alienated because of such disruptive changes in technology and conservative mindset. Our goal is then to contribute to technology, while gathering different groups of the society together to create and innovate together.
The proposed solution is an online platform where some volunteers will create or translate useful resources such as videos and tips about current practices including coding, web design, Photoshop/Illustrator, smart agriculture and housework. The communities we mentioned above will be encouraged to participate in this program both financially and mentally. After learning, people will be able to earn rewards that they can use to illustrate their newly-developed skills, encourage each other and submit new ideas and feedback for our sponsor companies.
This platform will also be used, and sponsored by the leading technology and consumer companies. These companies basically will try to harvest new ideas, and employ workforce by asking for feedback and looking for talented people (who will have completed some training on several concepts). The companies will encourage people by providing free products, software license, vouchers, or freelancer employment programs. This online platform will also host stories of succesful prominent individuals from such communities, hence creating an opportunity to reduce the prejudice between these communities and the rest of our society.
