NICHE INTEGRATED SOLUTIONS-TECHXAFRICA
I am a woman from South Africa, single parent business entrepreneur wanting to lead women to the world of technology, whilst there is such a disparity between the number of men versus women in technology.
We also want to position ourselves as one of Africas leading women in tech companies to drive disruption across the African continent
TechX Africa is an opportunity to experience next-generation thinking and philosophy fueled by woman in Tech, transporting you into the era of Purposeful Cost and Market disruption. It brought local top ICT companies and world leaders in ICT, together with local small and emerging ICT entrepreneurs as well as women in technology to create a vehicle that allows ICT talent to be ported across Africa. The value the bigger companies bring to the SME is in their partnerships that foster technology and skills transfer through supply chain inclusion, local implementations, and local support.
TechXAfrica was created to address some of the main challenges faced by entrepreneurs:
These are amongst the top 5 challenges faced by African entrepreneurs:
- Attracting customers;
- Maintaining profitability;
- Increasing revenue;
- Uncertainty over economic conditions;
- Securing financing for expansion.
Even though ICT entrepreneurs are creating world-class amazing solutions, it is still a major challenge for them to market their solutions and therefore fail within their sales strategy. It is thus imperative that Niche Integrated Solutions as a South African SMS themselves try to help other SMME to gain visibility and sales traction, not only within South Africa but the rest of Africa as well, hence TechXAfrica being the catalyst to bring everyone under one roof and to be able to port a combination of talents throughout Africa.
Other opportunities that the event created was the networking of local ICT entrepreneurs with global ICT players to enable them to also market some of their innovations to these global players. Niche Integrated Solutions strongly advocates the integration of SMME into supply chain opportunities. Niche Integrated Solutions also invited funders to the event to spot the talent and to give exhibitors access to funders and financiers.

With a great focus on Women in technology as well as African ICT entrepreneurs we aim to strongly advocate the integration of SMME into cross country supply chain opportunities to enable their sustainability and growth.
Most ICT entrepreneurs do not make it passed year 1, we hope to help them attract more customers and become self sustainable.
- Elevating issues and their projects by building awareness and driving action to solve the most difficult problems of our world
Sustainability of women ICT entrepreneurs and integration into cross country supply chain opportunities-most of the African ICT opportunities are leaving Africa into foreign hands
We are driving awareness of new trends in ICT to solve some of Africas burning challenges and to help build smarter cities and countries
We are building a vehicle that combines global ICT companies with smaller ICT companies for local skills transfers
To export more ICT skills to the rest of the world rather than import them
Helping other ICT entrepreneurs to maintain their sustainability by giving them visibility, access to opportunities and access to funders
We are an smme ourselves and we experience great difficult becoming known to the market. So we decided to use our own experiences to create programmes that can help other ICT entrepreneurs that faced that very same challenges as ourselves
We are women owned, women lead and most of us are also single parents. We are motivated to help all the women behind us and to be able to lead more women to us. Survival is not an option as single parents.
Extremely well, whilst we are still entreprenuers in our business, our biggest strength is our executive team whom all come from executive positions in the past jobs. Our first programme was headlined in countries in Africa and now we want to amplify this.
