Tech Hero Ghana
Charles Appiah-Mends is my name. I am diligent and purpose-driven individual. I am software engineer(first year university student) and my partner Claude Amadu is final high school student with skills in coding.
Tech hero Ghana is a joint initiative by both of us and we have churn out great projects like admobby, appmobby paymobby, Teach me app and skyhub.
We render services like website development ,game development, software development and graphic designing.
We hope to enable every business in africa promote their enteprises online.
We have built an online ads service analogous to google ads service or media net yet offer it at a cheap price so africans can afford. We call it admobby. We have publishers which permit ads on their websites or blogs and gain revenue per their clicks and impressions.
We hope to elevate humanity to gain capita via online and clients to boom their businesses.
We have other amazing projects which elevate humanity as well.
We currently have 28 clients who are using our platform to advertise their websites or service . We enable them to reach millions of people at a reduced price. Africa's start up businesses have diminutive capital thus ,we offer them affordable and reasonable prices so as to help them scale up their businesses.
Conversely, we pay publishers commission based on clicks(excluding invalid clicks) and impressions generated.
We aim to empower every enteprise in africa utilize the online platform so as to increase sales.
ADMOBBY in particular , shows ads and links on other websites and blogs to generate traffic to the clients webpage or products. We advertise the business to escalate sales and attention.
PAYMOBBY is payment method that we have also built. It works like other online payment methods.
DEVMOBBY also africa-based. function just like playstore and apple store just that rates and payment are tailored towards african economy. We created to offer affordable rates and better payments to african developers.
Our project seeks to assist entrepreneurs and startup businesses and developers in africa especially. We provide services just like international companies with african economy in mind.
Already we have over 26 customers and expect more. We try to break the monopoly powers of international companies in africa and offer similar service at lower rates. We believe when it becomes bigger it will as well boost the GDP of Africa as most of revenue generated wires to international countries . We hope to generate revenue to used by and for africa's development.
- Elevating opportunities for all people, especially those who are traditionally left behind
We aim to break the monopoly powers of big companies like google and media net. Though we respect their work but believe their charges and payment is not tailored for african economy especially.
Some may be able to afford but most upcoming firms and entrepreneurs find it daunting despite their need for the service to reach millions and grow the business.
Our passion is to provide a more affordable and the economy-friendly charges to actualize their target as well.
I was impressed at the fact that Claude Amadu, someone studying nothing concerned with software engineering at high school had manage to start Tech Hero. I joined in with my skills and have been partners ever since.
We share ideas and code to build whatever we have built so far including ADMOBBY. We knew there were competitors yet wanted to give a better offer than existing ones.
We feel we need to get african-based apps as these international companies gain too much from the ripe african market. We want to encourage using african-made things and thi extends the age of internet.
We want to embark on projects that will enhance self-reliance of africa. There are lots of projects in mind to achieve that and very dear to me as we could earn as much as we do , as they earn from us to develop their country.
We however respect them and even research ways theirs operate but yearn to develop softwares which favour the african economy.
Though the team only comprise of five people , I believe we have epitome of every skillset necessary. We have the IT experts, the business minded and public speakers. I feel we are in good position to deliver this project.
We have started executing them and progressing gradually. If we are to present the project to the public or any platform , I would affirm we have been waiting for such an opportunity.
The adversity would be the trust from big companies. Great companies would rather prefer to work with reknowned advertisers as they mistrust that we could provide the exposure they would desire.
Money would be one of the major problems currently retarding us. We need to pay publishers but revenue is not enough to pay gthem or even as much as we yearn. We need more attention thus more advertisement for ourselves.
Despite the predicaments, we have managed to gain over 26 customers and hope to soar our numbers. We have 36 publishers which help broadcast to reach millions.
