Physiocrest
We provide physiotherapy services to individuals suffering from various medical conditions such as stroke and athritis.
Most people living with disabilities in various community in akwa ibom cannot access physiotherapy treatments due to various reasons which include lack of knowledge about what physiotherapy can do in improving lives, supersitious beliefs, not knowing how to contact a physiotherapist and not been able to afford the much needed physical therapy intervention. My idea is going to bring my services close to the people and sensitize even the uneducated in a layman's language and make our services available to every members of the communities without discrimination
- Effective and affordable healthcare services
My idea is a new business model in the form of community physiotherapy set up permanently in underserved areas, a form of physiotherapy not a place in my country. Most people have to come from far distances to states' capitals to receive treatments but our innovation brings physical therapy interventions close to them on a permanent basis. We treat various medical conditions such as spondylosis, spondylolisthesis, stroke, rheumatoid athritis, osteoarthritis, parkinson disease, amyotropic lateral sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, and surgical conditions such as fracture at our centers. We also manufacture and sell low cost orthotic devices such as back slab.
A google store app which can easily be assesed on a compatible OS by prospective client from the comfort of their homes in which appointments can be scheduled with any of our physiotherapists and contact details of our available physical therapist can be assessed. A listing of common medical conditions with information about their various symptoms and tips such as dietary and exercises protocols will be provided on the app
Job creation: This innovation will employ no less than 100 physiotherapists in the long run thereby reducing unemployment in the health sector.
Reduced dependants: physical therapy interventions in the community will help to reduce the number of people living with disabilities in that particular area thereby increasing the number of aged people who can take care of themselves in the community.
My vision is to establish a franchise of Physiotherapy centers starting with the 31 local government areas in akwa ibom before establishing branches in the remaining 35 states and FCT of Nigeria then beyond the shores of my country thereby making sure no physiotherapist is unemployed and everyone suffering from conditions requiring physiotherapy intervention is treated

I will get to interact with other entrepreneurs and build a wide network that extends beyond the shores of my country . I will also get to meet people of like minds, those who see mediocrity as a burden, those who refuse to allow boredom to take over their lives, those who refuse to be trapped by their comfort zones, those willing to think out of the box. I will also get to get an awesome visibility through the MIT Solver network which will enable more people to know about us.
