Saving our life by avoiding rumors, research robot  for early  tracking  of rumors.

The rapid spread of the weapon of lies in the virtual world  has a great impact in any society, because it causes confusion among the masses of people. A recent study found that nearly two-thirds of the inaccurate claims made about the Coronavirus contain some amount of truth. The Reuters Institute at the University of Oxford analyzed more than 200 pieces of information that had been classified as either false or misleading by fact-checking organization First Draft News. The survey found that 59 per cent of the information was rewritten, edited, and formatted based on information, but it was placed in templates closer to falsification, and it was found that 38 per cent of the remaining publications were completely fabricated.

COVID-19 pandemic has not only caused significant challenges for health system all over  the globe but also fueled the surge of numerous rumors, hoaxes and misinformation, regarding  etiology, outcomes, prevention, and cure of the disease. This misinformation are masking healthy  behaviors and promoting erroneous practices that increase the spread of the virus and ultimately  result in poor physical and mental health outcomes among individuals.*

Target customer segments:
- All members of Yemeni , Egyptian society using the net at the first and second stages.
 - Additional societies with other languages at the third stage who interested in monitoring and tracking rumors also who affected by those rumors .

This data is collected from consumers using their Rumors checker  app, which is will be linked directly with  Coronavirus information center at Facebook  . 
The TMTN team will be collaborated with  to develop predictive algorithms that can act as an early warning system for posts  with rumors  conditions .

We will contribute to the creation of methods that publish opinion polls in a different way from the method that requests access to links and aims to hear the opinions of social media audiences about their opinions regarding the shaded information and its impact on them.

The first phase will includes the establishment of a partnership between the study team and the founder of the idea who is a representative of the private sector and other social media (Facebook , Instagram )  as a global private sector and the World Health Organization as a representative of the United Nations for the purpose of taking advantage of existing initiatives to develop measures of progress in achieving sustainable development by supporting statistical capacity building in developing countries. Including Yemen (the country of origin of the idea).

The reason for the tangible impact will be because access to social media is now available to all, rich and poor, educated and uneducated.

What will distinguish us is that we will archive these posts for a health and awareness purpose.

 At the third phase of our solution and depending on the  condition that the first and second phases prove successful in the two target countries (Yemen and Egypt) and starting  from the beginning of the second year to establish with more ideas that include the multiplicity of the system’s expansion to include the introduction of other languages gradually targeting countries where the information epidemic is spreading and monitoring methods are used for publications and shaded information. The future is to control behavior in the present. It is also possible to exploit the capabilities of ICTs to use information from the (recent) past in order to influence what is happening in the present. By analyzing social media, it is possible to predict hot spots of an epidemic of shaded information that can create a predictions base for potential future global dangers, just like the Hatebase database (hate speech database) Collecting data on the vocabulary of hate speech and its prevalence in social media on the basis of The direct relationship between hate speech and the risk of genocide, and this data is used to predict regional violence.

The indicators of our solutions will be measures through our main outputs as follow :

Outputs of first phase:

1. A built-in collection and investigation system and structure linked to social media accounts in Egypt and Yemen as a first stage.

2. The technical team is ready 

3. The medical team is ready (health experts and health advisors from both countries)

Outputs of the second phase:

1. Successful integration of information technology improved and patient care in managing

mass of COVID19 pandemic.

2. Successful roles in disseminating authentic information between Mass media, community organizations, support groups, and civil society.

3. successful strategic partnerships at local and global levels, connecting offline and online resources in a coordinated manner so that validated information is communicated across platforms.

Outputs of the third phase:

1. Full activation of the Technology Bank to confront the epidemic of shadow information and the capacity-building mechanism in the fields of science, technology and innovation for the benefit of the target countries by 2023
2. Full Promotion of  the development of environmentally sound technologies in the face of the epidemic of shaded information, its transfer, dissemination and dissemination to other developing target countries with non-Arabic languages

First, one of the obstacles may be the implementation of the idea at the level of social networking sites in the local community, we need coordination with the authorities and their ministries.

It will be overcome by signing prior memoranda of understanding with representatives of the Ministries of Health and International Cooperation.

Second: Obstacles represented in responding to rumors through the social networking sites themselves.

It will be coordinated with Facebook to allow our business bot to respond to rumors and have a response appear on their pages through API ( Application Programming Interface)
