I believe if we could predict the future, we may accomplish less mistakes. In the last few years I've talked to many people in the US, and many of them told me they usually refuse to undertake regular medical checkups because of the high cost of health care. I believe that has been fine for most of them. But on the other side there is for sure a niche which could have benefit from taking a visit and preventing an upcoming disease. Two years ago a friend of mine went to his physician for a checkup, and he told the physician his hands and his feet were colder than they used to be. The physician, maybe used to listen about more significant symptoms, quickly visited him and told he was okay. A month later my friend went to the hospital because he couldn’t breathe well, and he has been diagnosed with a heart infection, which strictly limited his life since then. This episode motivated me to take actions. I first hoovered what I could possibly do to fix this bug and over these last years I came up with this solution: I want to give people the chance to monitor their body through synthetic biology and the internet applied to our physical body. By adopting this method, we can save a lot a lives of all ages and the health care system would save a lot money by wasting less. Curing a patient when he is in an advanced stage of a disease is much more expensive than curing him at the beginning of the disease stage. I personally study data science and I thought about the potentiality of having an algorithm which analyses data taken from patient body in real time. The algorithm is trained to work on anomaly detection. Once the algorithm finds one of it, it won't immediately cure the patient, but it will at least warn him about anything going wrong. I want to dedicate all of myself in improving the health care system, and I'm grateful to you willing to help me improve it in such a way.
