Digital Deck
My thought was to create an eye-catching and easy-to-use platform for all freelancers… When I say all, I mean ALL. Not only for the freelancers in the digital sphere but also for self-employed people, small businesses, NGOs, or other organizations who are not very good with tech…
I thought that a platform where you can type some text and upload some images may work well for self-employed people and small businesses who don’t have the resources, the time, or the knowledge to build a website presence on their own. Paying someone to build a website for you sounds better than it actually is, especially if you don’t have at least several hundred dollars (at the minimum)…
That’s why I wanted to create a website where every self-employed, small business and NGO can create a beautiful landing page and present a great face in the digital world ?
The specific problem we want to solve is the lack of opportunities for small businesses, entrepreneurs, NGOs , and other projects to have affordable in terms of pricing (we want it to be free) and a good-looking digital presence. And most importantly - we'll do it for them.
The idea is to help every project on the planet to have its own free piece of the internet with a great amount of personal customization and as little effort as possible.
Our solution is simple - to create a website with the idea to create beautiful landing pages for individuals and organizations all around the world. We want it to be fast, optimized for search engines, and to have great filters in order to help individuals and organizations to have the products and services from such small institutions worldwide. We've started with a prototype website which is built on WordPress in order to validate our idea and to gather feedback for our potential customers' needs. However, our long-term solution will be custom and we hope we'll be able to structure solid processes which will be the only way to achieve our ambitious goal.
We have three main targets:
1. Self-employed people who work mostly on a local level (in their city or country) and have a low level of digital skills and competences. Those are the local lawyer, accountant, or plumber. They are great professionals but they are not that good with tech. We want to help them to make their first moves in the digital world.
2. Small businesses - here we have a large variety of businesses. We have the local players who depend on their specific location and the small businesses and entrepreneurs who work on national and even international level but mostly depending on personal contacts and sales efforts.
3. NGOs and other organizations - We want to provide every NGO and other projects which want to bring value to society and to the world as a whole with the ability to have their own "piece of internet" without any expenses.
We want to target these three groups on a global level at one point but probably we'll start in the following order: Eastern Europe, Middle East, and North Africa, South Asia, Central and South Africa, Latin America, East Asia, Western Europe, and North America.
- Scale safe and private digital identity and financial tools to allow people and small businesses to thrive in the digital economy.
The problem we want to target is the following - a low amount of local and small businesses worldwide which have any custom digital presence at an affordable price.
Our solution is a digital platform that will provide free and custom landing pages for every self-employed, small business, or other organization around the world and will have useful filters that will increase their business potential and the awareness for their product, service, shop, or another type of business.
- Pilot: An organization deploying a tested product, service, or business model in at least one community.
We've already built a website and we're sharing it with as many people as possible in order to get the much-needed feedback. For now, we've shared the project mostly in Bulgaria, but we've slowly started to gather opinions from all over the world.
- A new business model or process that relies on technology to be successful
The option for customization and the fact that people who are not good with technology won't be forced to do a great deal of tech work - they'll simply fill an online form.
