Each one-Give one by Trimmed Innovation
The pandemic has amplified gaps in availability of educational resources. On one hand, there is no dearth of prosperous students, teachers and in general good people who would like to give-away their spare resources - time, material, and efforts. On other hand there is no dearth of deserving students unable to proceed or excel due to lack of these resources in hand.
The motto 'each one help one' is perfectly applicable in context. The resources can refer to time and efforts to train juniors online or offline with full covid protocol ; to materials in terms of spare, used smart phones ; to materials in terms of used books, technical equipment for projects, etc.
Poor, under-privileged students are needy of resources and a sizeable portion of privileged communities are reasonably willing to part with their spare resources as charity. A connect and supply chain is missing herein. Direct money involvement has to be kept aside.
1. Creating awareness
2. Seeking spare, old smart phones from affluent communities. Either way, old smart phones fetch nothing much in resale market.
3. Seeking books, educational material, and technical DIY kits etc from affluent communities. Most of times these are trashed or get rotten in backyard or garages.
4. Giving above resources to needy and deserving.
