I do believe that our project is unique and address food security, climate change, water reticulation, unemployment, renewable energy and much more. The prize funding will be used to develop our project even further and duplicate in other regions 

I am a strong believe in positive social transformation through training and sustained development. I also come from a generation of farmers. So my first love is farming and lest face it humanity not can exist with food for our sustenance. 

Food security, environmentally sustainable farming, unemployment. This is a world wide problem and affects everyone on earth. Global warming has created unpredictable weather patterns that prevent the growing of certain crops. However with a containerized solution for vertical farming that is off the grid we would be able to grow crops in a controlled environment not dependent on government power or water. This project will be scalable and can be implemented on small home scales or commercial scales.      

The solution is to be implemented in customized shipping containers that use solar power for the lighting, ICT and power pumps. This solution is also scalable.   

We are currently in the research and development stage of this project. It is our intention to seek clients for the produce to ensure sustainability  of the project. Further to highlight through this project the uniqueness of the project in reducing the carbon footprint of fruit and vegetables
