Authority Books. We write books on national values

I am applying for elevate prize to promote quality education in Nigeria, Africa and wider world. we need fund to re-print our text books: Authority in Religion and national values for primary 1-6, Authority in civic education and national values for junior secondary school 1-3 and Authority in civic education for senior secondary 1-3. These books have been approved by the state governments in Nigeria. The books are meant to prepare student for all round development, physically , socially, culturally and morally. it emphasizes on civic duties, family life values, community values, national and international values, national consciousness,security awareness among others. These values no doubt will help to solve national and international problems such as arm robbery, prostitution, kidnapping, cultism, terrorism, economic and political corruption within Africa and wider world. The grants when provided will also help to solve the of unemployment among the youths as more hands will be engaged as marketers and sale agents in schools and colleges across the globe.

I am Dr. Victor Emeka Okafor,my areas of specialization are social studies and curriculum studies and i have held many academic positions such as head of department, coordinator of programme in college of education in Nigeria, external examiner and board member to many educational institutions. I have written many books, contributed chapters in books and journals. i have also serve as chief editor and editorial member to many renowned books and journals. I have also attended many conferences, workshops, locally and internationally and presented well researched papers. many of my published works can be accessed online.

my vision is to create job for many jobless youth through my well researched works and create crime free society through the values embedded in my books.

the purpose of my organization is to present well researched text books that could attract grants. This will avail us the opportunity of re-printing many copies of the books that can marketed or sold in  the schools and colleges by the teaming number of unemployed youths roaming the street without jobs.

the goals of these Authors is to use their books to inculcate the values of hard, patriotism that will help to create a crime free society.

my organization which is known as "Authority books" specialize in writing well researched books for the general public. These books are value oriented as a  result it help to solve societal problems such as drug abuse, cultism, kidnapping, arm robbery, prostitution, hooliganism, terrorism among others. We address these problems by selling and marketing these books in primary, secondary and tertiary institution. We also engage jobless youths to market these books within the towns in Nigeria and they earn commission from the sales. However the source of funding for the reprinting of these books has remained our major headache. These books no doubt have positively affected the lives of over 10 thousand youths in Nigeria communities.

My works are highly innovative in the sense that our text books are comprehensive and written in simple language, with beautiful and attractive pictorial illustrations. every chapter is accompanied with a revision exercises  to test the knowledge of the students on the topic studied.  Anambra State Government in Nigeria has made it first among equals. it has recommended it to be used in our primary schools and secondary schools to inculcate communal, moral and national values to the students and the general public. The books are unique in the sense that they are in high demand in the schools and colleges. It will also be a source of livelihood to many jobless youths that will serve as marketers and sale agents to schools and bookshops. The books are written in the language that every teacher and student can read and understand.

The steps we are taking to ensure that our books actually impact on people's lives globally include lunching it on a website so that they can be accessed globally. however the costs of setting up a website are enormous, we strongly hope that we shall set up website for these books when this grants is given to us.
