I am applying for the elevate prize because i believe that it can take the work i am already doing, to another level, elevate it, give it a platform that will increase the impact of the work we do at Rescue Foundation. Over the last 20 Years, we have been working to free women and girls from sex trafficking and still there is so much to be done, people are still unaware, the elevate prize would not just be an award, but also shed more light to such a dark crime

As a winner i would be able to strengthen my existing projects and expand the work into other areas, for example, conduct more child labour related cases of investigation, rescue and restoration.

Rescue Foundation is a registered and Licensed NGO which is actively involved in Rescuing,
Rehabilitating, Repatriating and Reintegrating unfortunate Girls/ Women who are trafficked from
different parts of India, Nepal & Bangladesh or other countries. These girls are sold in the
Brothels of Mumbai, Pune and Delhi etc. for forced Prostitution.
We have established four protective and rehabilitation homes as under:
Mumbai for 100 girls.
Thane (Boisar complex) for 150 girls established on 50 acre land.
Pune for 100 girls.
Delhi for 100 girls.

We have established Boisar complex consisting of the following at our 50 acre land just
85 km away.
Recovery Care Center for HIV girls..
Training center.
Agricultural fields,
Biogas plant for producing biogas from cattle dung to facilitate cooking and
generation of electricity by feeding biogas into the gas operated generator.
Milk production by rearing cattle.
Vermicompost plant producing high quality manure
above facilities are provided for following reasons:
o To train the girls.
o To generate income.
o To spread knowledge to the villages of three nations after the beneficiaries
are repatriated.

Girls trafficked and sexually exploited undergo such inhuman atrocities, physical and mental torture and brainwash in the brothels.

Unfortunately, the spread of HIV and AIDs has not discouraged the sex industry's growth - instead, it has led traffickers to seek even younger girls, who are more likely to be disease - free. Many of these girls will never escape. Some will die of AIDS and other communicable diseases, some will resort to suicide.

Trafficking is not only a challenge for development, but is a critical factor in creating and sustaining peace and stability in our society. Victims are without any means of subsistence. Our efforts promote the integration of two components of sustainable development – economic development & social development – as independent and mutually reinforcing pillars. Sound environmental, social and economic policies, responsive to the needs of the people, the rule of law, gender equality is the basis for sustainable development. Peace, security, stability, respect for Human Rights and fundamental freedoms including the rights to development as well as respect for cultural diversity & dignity, are essential for achieving cultural development and ensuring that it benefits all.

Our work is innovative because we need to tailor everything to eah child we rescue, from her mental health needs to education and livelihood. Rescue operations too are planned with local police to ensure we save the girls before any further abuse.

Investigation of children involved in sex trade and identification of girls missing from India, Nepal & Bangladesh.

Rescue of girls & children from brothels and from airports, railway stations while they are in transit.

Safe shelters and healthy nutrition at our four homes.

Complete health care including HIV/AIDS, abortions, deliveries, hospitalization etc.

Vocational Training for developing their skill and training them to lawfully sustain in life along with formal primary education.

Legal Aid to prosecute & punish anti-social elements.

Psycho-social counseling at every stage to help them forget their trauma and develop positive attitude.

Repatriation to reunite with their families and reintegrate with society.
