EcoplastID is a socially responsible company (socially
enterprise) which aims to promote a friendly lifestyle
environment and provide innovative values for urban communities. Social
This enterprise uses materials from agro-industrial waste such as cassava peels,
empty palm oil bunches and coconut waste for this bioplastic product. Impact
that EcoplastID expects not only for the environment, but for
making products 100% local. EcoplastID has a vision to create solutions
innovative way to solve the problem of plastic waste. Apart from that, all at once
increase public awareness of the importance of using friendly products
environment. To achieve its vision, EcoplastID adheres to two main values, namely
eco-friendly innovation and cooperation.

is expected to evolve to be closer to nature and live
a more responsible and sustainable life.

The problem is the problem of plastic waste which is getting out of control every day. And we humans must act right now before it's too late. This problem arises because of the use of materials that are not environmentally friendly. It takes about 1000-10000 years for it to be degraded, while in terms of raw materials, namely oil, the availability is increasingly limited. Therefore, we developed this bioplastic product as an alternative to this environmentally unfriendly plastic made from underutilized agro-industrial waste and its availability in Indonesia is quite a lot.

We offer bioplastic products in the form of shopping bags made from agro-industrial waste such as cassava peel waste and empty oil palm bunches. Our products are biodegradable and compostable because they can be degraded in less than 8 months so that when in nature they don't damage the environment. Our products have the same characteristics as plastic bags in general, but what distinguishes them is their biodegradability.

Our products are more affordable than our competitors because we use raw materials for agro-industrial waste which are underutilized and are widely available in Indonesia. As well as our ingredients are not food ingredients like our competitors who use cassava, corn and potatoes so we hope it will not disturb the food balance in the future. Then our product is resistant to water unlike competitors which dissolve easily in water. And also our product has a sufficient tensile strength of about 5-8 kg of maximum capacity per unit.

We want to open up employment opportunities by increasing our production capacity and feeding those who are unable and do not have a job because in the future we have a coaching program that can list publicly which schools and non-schools can participate for us to build and work in our factory later. We hope that in the short term it can increase the economic growth of these communities. Then for the long term, through the transition to the use of bioplastics to replace materials that are not environmentally friendly, we want to shape a world in the future where there is no more uncontrollable waste due to these materials. Therefore, from now on we are introducing environmentally friendly materials so that we don't have to worry anymore about the materials we use that will pollute the environment and keep our earth sustainable without the problem of plastic waste.
