The holistic demand and supply chain in harvesting involves the diversion, collecting, storage, usage, and management of runoff through various micro financing schemes and as sustainable as possible, for domestic, livestock, irrigation. Our project has aims to
better the lives of the poor who live in the most remote rural areas as well as alleviating the suffering of severely vulnerable families from water our project has helped in building climate resilience through the component of rain harvested water that would otherwise be lost and saved for future use in drought
period, prevent flooding. Busia as community has active 185 days of rainfall per annum with the Kenya Meteorological department always
flagging Busia to receive a moderate of and heavy rainfall of a scale of 20mm to 70mm.We have so far accessed to 426 households with water tanks with a collection capacity to harvest 1,580,000 liters of rainwater. An average home in the rural communities comprises of 7 members per family
impacting 2,982 persons directly.
