Pasqueñas helping hands (Manos Pasqueñas que Ayudan)

Our work consists of supporting the most vulnerable people of our population that includes 13 districts with the option to expand to more districts; We work supporting health and education aspects, providing training, guidance and nutrition. For this we distributed survival kits throughout 2020 in the pandemic, support us with resources from our own pockets, because the need was pressing. If we manage to be selected, it will help us to implement a home, offices, warehouses, classrooms, a health center to reach more people. Our volunteers support those most in need without interest. That is why we seek to grow as a self-sustaining organization that allows us to continue helping.

I was born in the city of Cerro de Pasco, it is located in the mountains of Peru at more than 4000 meters above sea level; Despite being a mining town, you don't see the development and the abandonment of the government is felt. Together with my brothers and sisters we organize ourselves to be able to support our most vulnerable people, because we know of need and poverty and we seek to help.
As an organization we seek to grow and reach out to offer our help to more vulnerable people since health and education are areas that still have gaps in our context; Pasqueñas hands that help is still small but we know that it will grow with our commitment to continue helping those most in need. Our goal is to cover the 3 provinces of our Pasco region.

Manos Pasqueñas que Ayudan, was born with the purpose of bringing aid to the most vulnerable population of our town; Well, the inequality and the gaps in health and education that we have and that the state cannot reach due to the corruption that exists in local, provincial and regional governments makes it difficult to serve the most vulnerable population.
To help those most in need, we carry out support campaigns to collect food, medicine and to develop survival kits, which are two: Food and Educational. We do all this work with donations and resources from our pocket that many times we are unable to cover.
We also offer campaigns and training on health, education, entrepreneurship and others with the help of our volunteers who support you for nothing.

They support us a lot in technology creating applications for health and education issues adapted to our reality and that allow us to better attract vulnerable people. For example, in 2020 we created a mobile app to report the progress of covid-19 cases in our region, in addition to offering people a virtual discard, tips related to the current situation in which we live. All of this developed with our own effort to reach more people of all ages.

In the first place, we prioritize the topics: Health and Education, which from our perspective is the one with the most gaps in our context.
Then we summon volunteers: Doctors, Nurses, Psychologists, Teachers, Technicians to form our campaign teams; We work all of this based on the free time of our volunteers.
We also call for volunteers who can donate to us: Food, medicine, school supplies, among others. All this to create survival and educational kits.
Then we prioritize the most vulnerable people; with the support of the people themselves who know a case that needs support; to use technology.
Then we went to provide our support.
