Solution Overview
Solution Name:
ACREDITTA
One-line solution summary:
ACREDITTA connects skills, learning pathways and verifiable achievements in one platform enhancing talent in individuals and organizations
Pitch your solution.

Today there are 120 million ONLINE learners worldwide. However many  organizations in Latin America responsible for education and have failed to tailor, track and recognize learning achievements in digital format and even more important, don't provide tangible outcomes in the form of a digital credential that can allow real proof to employers.

ACREDITTAS PLATFORM provides a rich, friendly user interface that allows anyone in an organization to: search course and design learning pathways with a target in skills development. Students and workers can either be assigned or join full paths or individual courses and receive a digital credential in a blockchain secured format after completion.

We are building an ecosystem where learning outcomes, skills and experiences can be owned, shared, verified by the student and employer anytime and anywhere. This will allow millions who are underserved to become connected to the future of work.

Film your elevator pitch.
What specific problem are you solving?

On-line learning and MOOCs adoption have been increasing for well over a decade, but after the pandemic dramatically accelerated. Of all the learners that ever registered on a MOOC platform, one third did so in 2020, making it a global phenomenon with 120 million learners worldwide. However many public and private organizations in Latin America responsible for education and development have failed to tailor, track and recognize achievements in digital format.

Latin America, with a labor force of 300 million people has the biggest skills gap in the world. Organizations simply lack the tools and promote learning and development, with little accountability on the results: more than 4 in 10 firms say they have difficulty finding workers with the right skills, and even more important, with tangible outcomes in the form of a digital credential that can allow real proof and verification to a potential employer.

The above statement is the case for Higher Ed Institutions, Technical Institutes , Online Course Programs, Professional Associations,Government and NGOs.

What is your solution?

We provide a rich, friendly UI that allows anyone in an organization to search, select courses and build learning pathways with a target in skills development. Students and workers can be assigned, try or join full paths or individual courses and receive a digital credential in a blockchain secured format once they achieve completion. Our SAAS platform is open through API, supports SSO and most importantly is agnostic to specific programs or vendors.

RUTAS secret sauce aims to aggregate existing programs and courses in Spanish into a catalog based on skills and have the users focus on curating, tracking learning pathways.

Who does your solution serve, and in what ways will the solution impact their lives?

We have realized that the so-called skills gap can also be a communication gap.

Our solution contributes in a very specific, sometimes no so tangible way to build an ecosystem where learning outcomes, skills and experiences can be owned, shared, verified by the student and employer in a digital format.  This will allow millions who are underserved not just to obtain a laptop, wifi connection and education, but to become connected to the future of work in the global digital economy.

Our target audience are organizations and educational institutions that are learning to implement best practices, tools to promote skills based learning and define a strategy to digitally recognize achievements.

Our platform is conceived as a B2B2C platform, with an aim to promote Self Sovereign records on the Blockchain.

Which dimension of the TPrize Challenge does your solution most closely address?
  • Promote the assessment and recognition of skills developed outside the formal educational system
Explain how the problem you are addressing, the solution you have designed, and the population you are serving align with the TPrize Challenge.

80% of the LATAM population lives in cities. Over the years both institutional learning and corporate organization have built learning & development strategies around what are “legacy systems”. We believe there is a missing layer in the ecosystem that allows organization through technology to improve and promote the assessment and recognition of skills developed either formally or outside the formal education system. Flexible, agile and skills-oriented platforms like ACREDITTA aim to help organizations equip people for the future of work. Our target market includes formal, informal and corporate educational systems across Latin America.

We’ve worked with hundreds of organizations and have helped them issue + 100K digital credentials. With our deep knowledge of the segment we are expanding our product and including more features we believe will make an impact.
