About Your Solution

What makes the solution innovative:

YOFIZ provides swift transaction capabilities to students and parents as well as efficient monitoring of fees payment by educational providers (Schools/vocations/institutions). It’s to tap in the mobile money services, VISA/MasterCard as well as PayPal services to provide s 24/7 payment platform.

How the solution demonstrates 'privacy by design':

YOFIZ will include 3 sections i.e.:
Student/ Parent – One will be able to make payments, view balances remaining and able to retrieve receipts of payment over the web or via the mobile App.
Schools/ Institutions – Able to register new students in to the system, set fees amounts for the different terms, view and retrieve real-time transaction reports as well as update the classes of the different children registered in their schools (promoted to next classes or levels).
Banks/ Other payment gateways – Able to authenticate and secure payments through the different gateways and produce and store receipts for different transactions having the needed information.
High-Level Requirements

How the solution can be incorporated into digital identification systems:

YoFiz after transactions will send payment approvals to users emails and institution thus it's time effective and secure.

How the solution is 'user-friendly':

YoFiz will work 24/7 using visa card , PayPal and mobile money type of payments which makes it user friendly in this digital error .

How the solution ensures interoperability:

The system must include the following:
Ability to interface the different users or sections as above (in 2) with the needed information and authentication.
Ability to securely carry out transaction with high-end or available security protocols for online payment.
Ability to incorporate automated routing and notifications based on the different gateways.
Ability to be swift in interactions with the users and not consume a lot of storage on the users’ device(s) used to access it.

How the solution accounts for low connectivity environments and for users with low literacy and numeracy levels:

we as a team are trying also to implement the using of USSD which can be translated to different local languages.

Vision over the next three to five years to implement or grow the solution to affect the lives of more people:

YoFiz app to be launched, Ugandans embrace the digital world and to be the leading digital payment application in Uganda, East Africa and Africa at large.
