Solution Overview

Solution Name

Equal basic education on sexuality education

One-line solution summary.

Report and answer questions about sex, this means, our body, mentality, ideas and related concepts, problems and responsibilities that it entails, equally and without discrimination of any kind

What is your solution?

My solution is one that we have been avoiding as a society for decades, eliminate taboos, change the educational model about sex education, that inspectors, educational directors, teachers and students re-educate themselves and eliminate the thought that believes that talking about sex is promoting them to lose our way, learn about your own body without judgment and leave the stereotypes that only make us hate ourselves, teach children about their bodies and respect their own body and that of others

What specific problem are you trying to solve?

The magnitude of the problem is really great and horrible that it continues to affect until this decade, millions of people of any age, gender, nationality and religion are affected by the lack of equal sexual education, factors such as scarce information resources or the lack of willingness to talking about sexuality is what impacts in this way.

The consequences are unwanted pregnancies, depression when dealing with hormonal situations, impotence for not having known before the subject Global Review finds Comprehensive Sexuality Education key to gender equality and reproductive health https://en.unesco.org/news/global-review-finds-comprehensive-sexuality-education-key-gender-equality-and-reproductive

Who does your solution serve? In what ways will the solution impact their lives?

The people of the world are those who need to learn about sex education, especially the new generations that are those who are in the formative stage that will create their philosophy and the sense of who they are, sex education not only deals with the sexual act, it talks about the functioning of the body, what I like, who I am, adolescents currently suffer more anxiety and depression due to lack of knowledge about them sexual and mental education go together to get to know us, during this confinement due to the covid-19 pandemic the statistics have worsened depression and suicide due to pressure not only from society, but from oneself.

The best way to approach is to stop seeing sex as something dirty, make things clear, put doctors and psychologists at hand, help boxes, campaigns on diseases and how to take care of ourselves, deny taboos, see it for what it is, something completely natural and normal that accompanies us since we are born

What steps have you taken to understand the needs of the population you want to serve?

I am part of the population and when I was younger I had the doubts that I see that the new generations have, I understand the needs of young people in portals where they express the desire to learn more about sex education that the population re-educate itself, it is difficult to grow up in one place and world where they are dead to talk about sex but at the same time they are not afraid of the coronavirus and the pandemic that we are experiencing as well as they are not afraid of the climate change that we are experiencing, this must be the decade where we raise awareness in depth from children to older adults. Unfortunately no, I am establishing a project, I am currently studying the first year of meducina, I want to do campaigns on sex education during my social service, I would love to start my own organization, I think it requires a lot of organization and wanting to help people to achieve this , I have what you need, I just need the impulse of more people, I know that I will achieve it because it is not only me, there are many

Which aspects of the Challenge does your solution most closely address?

Other: Addressing an unmet social, environmental, or economic need not covered in the four dimensions above

What is the unmet need that your solution tried to address? Why is it important?

The need that has never been addressed is to talk about education, a situation that I experienced and is very normalized is to remove men during the talk about menstruation or female changes but women do not remove them during the part that is spoken Regarding male changes, there is no talk of all contraceptive methods such as the latex barrier that exists and is never mentioned, only sex is talked about as penetration when it is not only that, just as there is no mention of solutions to pregnancy unwanted or sexual harassment, it is something that happens daily and we do not want to talk, we need to treat urgently it's called ignorance

Our solution's stage of development:

Concept: An idea being explored for its feasibility to build a product, service, or business model based on that idea

Explain why you selected this stage of development for your solution—in other words, what have you accomplished to date?

I selected a concept because I continue working and polishing the prototype that I want to use, however I have used this concept with my generation, which are young people between the ages of 18 and 19 at the moment, talking about sex and who we are has really uncovered and managed to deny taboos, get information from real sources, for example OMS
