Travel Assistant (Fermata)

Fermata is an android and web application used to assist the taxi station in Addis Ababa city and they have different futures like find me, near by Services and other.

Travel Assistant for Addis Ababa (Fermata) is to design and implement an
automated system that enables visitor to finding a city transportation stations for Addis Ababa also provide information of service providers.

We try to solve the time to find a taxi station location and ask a help for taxi station location at that time many people a robbed by thief so we help people new for Addis Ababa. This Application is help people to connect each other by find me features and this features send your location for your emergency contact if you touch the emergency contact button. we try to solve shortage of information in service provider like near by hospital pharmacy and other. and finally, Limited medium of communicating information is also one of the major bottlenecks that is hindering the

availability of information to people in a fast and effective manner most of the existing information systems utilize voice or SMS to communicate the information to the customer this issue needs to be mitigated. 

A software help people to live easy without lost their time. The Fermata(Travel assistant) is help the society by easily see the cost, time and distance to travel from one station to another station. add the society can add a station and checked by transport agency and approve it. The system use the diasporas to travel from one town to another and see near by gas station, Hospital and other listed in the application services. also for driver the News features help the driver when the road is closed for some reason like ceremony in our country the driver informed and see the notification. 

Our society is not use more technology and not informed well. and also thee software developer salary is less than other African country. we do a research on Addis Ababa and some big town in Adama.

we developed for graduation defense and we have a recognition certificate in Adama Science and technology University by showing the prototype and start soon a pilot step. the help to improve the economical and financial because some people just do not consider their cost, time and distance. and our application help them to select a better time and cost.  

The application is new in our country the have set a tax station location and using a community support. The System both mobile and web application.

we didn't launch yet. but when we launch our application in Addis Ababa the people use smart phone can access. we guess professionally around 5 million people use this application.

Launching our application and update what our society wants in our application like new features.

We can measure our software by using HCD method its viable, feasible and desirable.

The Society and The fund we can Save from our daily activity and participate in the compition.
