Stellar Sound Foundation is an international foundation that aims to solve problems in the modern music industry and give access to everyone who wants to pick music as a career.

What is your solution?

Stellar Sound Foundation aims to help everyone rediscover music and creativity from their home during these times.

We want to connect independent musicians in these times, as well as help them.

We will propagate positive changes in the music industry and address well-known problems in the music industry.

What specific problem are you trying to solve?

Some of the problems are:

music licenses
low paid streaming wages
Covid19-related decrease of economic opportunities for independent musicians
Encouragement for creativity and career guidance in the industry
music education for those with mental issues caused by the lockdown
Many more…

Knowing that not all people have the same opportunities and means, we wish to help those who are in the highest need internationally.

Who does your solution serve? In what ways will the solution impact their lives?

With the encouragement, community, conferences we will create more options for musicians that are already in the industry. To those not being able to afford, we aim to donate instruments. Free education will be provided to those facing depression and anxiousness caused by the lockdown.

Anyone interested in music will have an opportunity to gain something in one of our activities. We will try to improve everyone’s life by unlocking their creativity.

What steps have you taken to understand the needs of the population you want to serve?

We are running a Podcast with one completed season behind us. The guests were international musicians sharing their struggles as well as creative process.

Following multiple music-focused online communities gave the answer on what are the common problems and what the communities are failing to address.

We have researched the newest tech in music and what those platforms are about.

We have pitched out Activities and received some feedback on our ideas and ways how to shape them.

Most of our current volunteers are musicians or music enthusiasts that are already aware of the common problems, as well as up-to-date with the newest solutions in the market.

Which aspects of the Challenge does your solution most closely address?

Explain why you selected this stage of development for your solution—in other words, what have you accomplished to date?

We have formed a team for around one year and we have recently established an official Foundation. Most of the expenses were till now covered by the founder, but in order to grow and realize all ideas we have, we need a location, some items and covered costs to enable the execution of the activities we are determined to accomplish.
