To promote Vocational Education for Child Marriage Victims
According to the survey in 2010,13.5 million girls became victims of child marriages world over. Child marriages are common in Sindh province of Pakistan and resultantly in Pakistan one woman dies every 20 minutes during childbirth and the major cause is child marriages. The main reasons of child marriages in unawareness and poverty in communities. SSO intends to support the child marriage victim girls and boys and reshape their lives through providing them vocational skill development training that they can run their life cycle easily and to earn on self help basis.
We will conduct the survey in villages where child marriage ratio remained high and will select the child marriage affect girls to train them in vocational centres. A vocational centre would be establish and the child marriage affected girls would be imparted trainings on using of computer, internet and embroidery. These affectee girls would learn the embroidery work and can market it on line through keeping the posts on social media. Therefore, their mentally stress also would be decreased and they can add their earnings in their families.
We will select the child marriage affected girls of the area and would train them that they can live their lives easily through marketing their embroidery work and earn for their families. This is because, gender based violence is common but if they (affectee girls) would earn, their husbands would not beat them but after the earning their families will respect them.
We are indigenous organization and have vast experience in working with national and international organizations on the same issue; moreover, we have also worked on the same theme in the area and have good experience to deliver the same model.

We saw that after the marriage most of the child marriage victim girls are working in their home chores and after 1-2 years of their marriage their husbands are beating them and when they became pregnant they suffer much in the families. After marriage their husbands bound down them and not taking interest to them. We propose to take initiative and bring back to the child marriage victim girls and impart them vocational trainings and build their capacity to market their handicraft work on social media and train them on the use of computer. After availing the trainings and marketing their handicrafts work they (women/girls) will earn some of money and resultantly they can be saved from their husbands’ beatings and run their life cycle easily with enrolling their children in schools.
We build the market-linkages of the child marriage victim girls that they can sell out their handicrafts work and can easily earn. In this first phase we will select 05 villages and train to the selected child marriage victim girls and impart the vocational training to them and after 5 years we will select entire taluka and will impart the vocational trainings to the selected child marriage victim families.
We will conduct the baseline survey and routine monitoring of the project and will conduct the endline survey for overseeing the impact goals.
