The social media school

in our current pandemic many schools turned to online learning to teach students and their execution was subpar. My plan allows for it to be easily implemented in any school system and implemented well. So that if another coronavirus wave hits or if a new epidemic or pandemic spreads that requires a lockdown  there can be a way for kids to continue learning  and socializing in  a way that would be easy for every student to use.

my solution the social media school is a plan that uses discord as a base for a school. Discord and Google forms are the technology it functions off of. I chose discord because it's both are low cost and high in versatility in a way that makes it easy for students to grasp and easy for teachers to teach with such a wide range of tools such as the stream feature,video chat and channel feature.

The channel feature especially allows for easy organization of subjects.

The plan is to have a student create a school discord account  connected to their email the username being first and last names. 

Then send them an invite to a school hub discord server. The hub will have both invites to core subject classes and act as a place for students to socialize.

Subject servers will have teachers as mods who can give assignments  using google forms they create in a separate channel.

 Structured Classes will not be mandatory but in its place teachers will give supplemental videos explaining lessons and assignments.

We can also use dyno and MEE6 bots to both moderate, organize students with roles and incorporate other types of media such as YouTube videos into the classes.

My solution serves kids who cannot go to a brick and mortar school for whatever reason and addresses that issue by giving them an easy platform that can give them both socialization and and easy system to learn with.

I am a high schooler of an online school myself and I use discord a lot in my spare time. This gives me the knowhow to design the system but not the skills required to implement it. I am leaving that part up to anyone who would like to implement this idea with my consent as it's creator 

I applied to solve because I want to prove myself to both me,my family.colleges and the world.

I want to make a name for myself so that I can be successful and help others using my success.

For some reason no organization used discord for school instead drifting towards zoom which was really buggy and didnt work as a functional online classroom.

If someone picks up this concept and credits me i will be happy

I'm measuring the progress by seeing how many people use this plan

I feel like this concept would allow for more flexible schooling thus allowing for better education as a whole. Some people can't work with brick and mortar schools they just don't work them. And some just can't go so this can help them get a good education.

I would like in the future to hire a whole bunch of skilled people no matter their physical attributes however as a one man team high-schooler I can not
