Removing barriers of education for the marginalized

Education has over the years proven to be a source of enlightenment and also help people to
advance their status. However there are several factors that hinder most people especially
those in rural areas, refugees etc to have access to it which includes,
Lack of educational facilities
Financial constraints.
Inadequate staffs
Long distance to the nearby school.

Our Solution.
. Creating an educational portal which students can access through a special tablet.
These tablets would be pre-installed with educational contents depending on the user's level of
education and country of residence.
Setting up of community based center's especially in rural areas to enable proper supervision of
students.
The use of solar energy in order to operate in areas without electricity.
The use of star link satellites to provide internet for those in rural areas or areas which lack
telecommunication coverage to facilitate teaching and learning.
We believe these solutions above would help curb the educational problems if not eliminate
them completely.

Our target population is mainly the marginalized people in the society such as refugees, the disabled, people living remote areas among others. However we are going start by implementing our solution in rural areas in the Upper West region of Ghana and the proceed to other areas

I live and school in the University of Business and Integrated Development studies in Wa which is in the Upper West region of Ghana and also very close to these areas. Also due our experience from TTFPP, a program in our school curriculum which helps to equip students to work and understand and solve problems in the rural areas, I believe that my team and I are in the best position to deliver this solution

The reason we are applying to solve is mainly to

This solution is providing a new approach which can serve as a catalyst for quality education because of integrated approach to create a platform to remove all sorts of possible barriers hindering quality education

Our impact goals for next year is to have our presence in most areas of Upper West region of Ghana and Most part of Ghana and Africa in the next five years. 

The core technologies that are going to b used in this solution are softwares. AI technologies, GIS, internet satellite, cloud storage etc

Dolphin academy acknowledges and leverage upon different forms of education to make it easier for people of different backgrounds, situations or conditions to get access to quality education through our platform.

We design our structure, programs and policies in such as that everyone has access to quality education irrespective of their background, condition or situation.

We believe everyone deserves quality education, we therefore do our best to make our platform suitable for everyone.

Our key beneficiaries are the marginalized in the society and provide them with quality education by setting up community centers which helps in supervising them to learn effectively.

They need this education and training to equip them with the necessary skills for the job market in order to get employed and be able to cater for themselves. They also need our service in order to help them make the impact they want to have in their society.

We are going to sustain our organization through donations and grant.
