TechXAfrica
Technology is the leading industry in the world.
1. The problem is that many ICT emerging companies dont survive the first 3 years and fail. Women are moving more away from tech to it, most countries have a shortage of ICT skills that are usually expensive and foreign big companies are walking away with most of the ICT spend.
2. The solution is TechXAfrica, a plan that brings the biggest ICT Companies in the world together with the smallest ICT companies in a country in order to create a total ICT ecosystem that benefits both parties. Big companies need to comply to country regulations to support local companies and local companies are looking to be part of major company supply chains. This will stimulate growth, uplift societies, help support emerging entrepreneurs in ICT, stimulate job creation and bring more women to technology, whilst servicing the continent.
Emerging ICT companies -visibility and the forum to market their services
Access to funding and supply chain opportunities
Access to cross country opportunities
Current Status-Tech Entrepreneurship SA
Predominantly Male
Predominantly White
Predominantly under 35 years which means that people with less corporate experience are more engaged than those with more corporate experience
Despite decades of progress towards achieving equality in the workplace, women remain significantly under-represented in emerging tech. The imbalance between men and women in the technology sector is unlikely to be remedied unless organisations, schools and universities work together to change entrenched perceptions about the tech industry, and also educate young people about the dynamics and range of careers in the technology world.
Unemployment rates are high, smme lack of access to funding disable them from doing well and they often fail. Lack of ICT skills, and the big companies usually get the big business. There is not enough sharing of wealth and empowering smaller businesses within communities.
We are working towards helping small and medium businesses in the ICT field, a field which is the leading sector in the world at present.
We are also supporting women in technology to create a balanced society and to lead more women to technology and sciences.
our solution will help build economies, retain and enable the sharing of wealth whilst concurrently uplift and improve local ICT skills, job creation and sustainability
We are using the platform TechXAfrica to showcase talent in ICT locally, dominating the programme by women in technology to show the world that women are equally competent in technology.
At this forum, we promote as many local ICT entrepreneurs as possible, showcasing them to multi national tech giants and local executive level ICT buyers. We are also promoting cross country opportunities and giving emerging companies more visibility and outreach with their technologies.
The event covers the innovative and emerging technologies, things that are relevant and new in ICT for the country. We use technology as a means to solving countries challenges by engaging their own communities
