Globalized Offline-Digital Learning
It is evident that the advance in technology has made it possible that with the mobile phone one can at ease engage in learning with the mobile device, whether the adult or the growing up. However, many parents fear today leaving this mobile device with their wards to serve as a tool for learning in their absence. This is owing to the fact that most of the globally available phones by the manufacturers are programmed for multipurpose uses without having a particular group of users in mind and as result the mobile phone built-in-system device and filter would lack the controlling ability to limit or bar some unsolicited contents that the parents might found unhealthy for the moral and intellectual growth of the teens and youths. Even though the parents meant well by placing restriction to the usage of the phone as learning tool by the child in their absence, what happen when the parents are not there on the cases of necessity and urgency? Must the child always wait for the parents before making use of the mobile phone for learning? This would make learning dulling and time wasting for the child having been restricted of the freedom of using it when the parents or the elderly are not there. We see here that the restriction by parents has its attendant advantage and disadvantages that has not been given balanced satisfactory solution in a way to ensure the safety of the teens and youths not only from physical abuse as advocated by UNICEF but from the virtual and online ecosystem promoted abuse by means of unsolicited distractive adds and explicit contents that exploit the moral and intellectual sanity of the child.
To give this global bedeviling malaise satisfactory balanced solution ensuring the safety of the child in using the mobile phone for learning where the parents would have no fear of danger, we look at the near future when the TeenYutmi mobile app will be made enabled on a mobile phone to be manufactured by TeenYutmi, targeting the teens and youths as the prospective users for learning and education purpose only, which would be AI-powered, that is the mobile app, and the phone operating device with built-in filter capable of placing lasting restriction on the online harmful contents to ensure the safety of the teens and youths, and parents without fear any longer would allow their children to explore the available advantage of the mobile phone for their education and learning-the specially built mobile phone of TeenYutmi meant for that purpose only, thus playing the role of the digital parent guide of the child.
Our solution serves the teens and youths, parents and schools (educators)
Our solution enhances the moral and intellectual growth of the teens and youths, providing online security to them and alleviates the parents and educators from the fear of the child susceptibility to explicit contents and unnecessary online promoted add distractions, and therefore find it recommendable to be used at homes and schools by the children as the most suitable digital tool for learning which also promotes the images of the respective parents and schools whose children, pupils and students participate in our offline based intellectually Creativity Program that engages the registered pupils and children in trainings with our coaches in the art of debate, speech presentation, spoken words, music, drama, quizzes, etc which leads to eventual creation of intellectual contents that would be made available at homes and schools to be watched online, on T.V channels and DVD enabled devices; the DVDs which will be made available for sales in the markets, which when watched would inspire other children and schools to excellence through hardworking, making the children to come to early discovery and realization of their potentials in life.
e elaborately, it would be seen that innovation has both negative and positive sides. Technological innovations have both negative and positive sides on educational growth of children in the world. While the negative has stayed more with us, the positive side seems not to have greatly been explored. Research has shown that great number of children nowadays show more interest in knowing what is happening on the social media, television or films than giving concentration to explore knowledge from their books for self-development which only can guarantee better future for them and others. The government agencies and individuals across the globe have searched for solutions to this dwindling culture of learning among school children, but the problem still continues increasingly even as the world advanced in digital technologies. We aim in TeenYutmi to offer lasting solution to this aged-long problem ravaging education by exploring the positive side of the digital technologies to bring the children back to their books where all will healthily compete to be the best and through the process attain self-development that will guarantee better future for the individual and society. It is evidence from research finding that motivation has influence on people based on what they see others do which they admire and might want to also do. It would be known for example that every lover of football each has at least a player he admires the most and may want to be like. Similarly, the desire by some young people to be like particular celebrities or movie stars is due to the influences these celebrities and movie stars have had on them as they were being watched on the screen. The desire of a child to be like another seen on the screen or online social media, will likewise be control by the force of influence and motivation as shall be created by TeenYutmi Intellectual Creativity Program and made available in all homes, social media and schools.
