The overall goal for CMC is to stop the generational poverty and the lack of economic oppurtunities for the underserved communities on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and globally .

With the abundance of unhealthy food souces available it is effecting the overall health in our communities that is growing faster and no real solutions to break it's hold.
The overall population of around 45,000 members are effected in one way or another with the unemployment rate around 80% and the life expectancy at 48 years of age for males partnered with an devestating suicide rate twice the national average and a prolonged economic stand still for 80 plus years.
Now our cultural way of living has reached it's breaking point without a reliable way of fixing our own problems with the access to proper cultural educational outreach programs for healthy life styles and the much needed healing centers.
