Paradigm Shift- Transformation of changing Changes
16th August 2013, reading Gartner report, 200 billion is total fund available in Indian corporate sector as CSR, raised pertinent questions within me;
- why Smiles not multiplying among poor and needy
- why socio-economic development not making India a developed country
- how can CSR be made sustainable business model for artisans, weavers, and craftsmen (our focus target group). Charity/ donation is not way forward for sustenance of livelihood, neither it makes skilled people independent entrepreneurs.
Working in corporate as strategic alliance, sales and marketing professional, I experienced, gap in finding products establishing emotional connect for steady business growth Q-o-Q.
Aspasion was born, as Aspasion Creatives Foundation (NPO) and Aspasion Creativity (product design and development) company. Continuous creative innovation our DNA.
2yrs journey:
- helped 11 companies to strengthen their customer loyalty through emotional connect
- Happiness in 178 artisans getting orders and improving skill, our execution team.
In India, Asian Development Bank and World Data Lab estimates, 21.9% of Indian population below national poverty line. Google search reflects, 68lakhs are artisans and out of which 55% are women. The major challenges;
-lack of work, artisans exiting core competency, doing random work to earn some money for family
- lack of innovation and technology to empower
- Middle man taking away profit margins
- Educated artists, capturing art and skill from theses artisans paying peanuts and then applying their knowledge presenting it as their creation to earn money with new gate-up, same art form.
In Corporate India, competitions are making company bleed in red ocean. Each company spending huge amount in sales and marketing to increase business. Marketing teams spending huge to build customer loyalty. But big gap in reaching blue ocean, to prosper prosperity of growth as per targets planned. Result, no job creation and unemployment. Unemployment rate in India increased to 3.53%. https://tradingeconomics.com/india/unemployment-rate?poll=2019-03-31.
Grateful to organizations, for bettering human capital by making world healthier and more educated.
Aspasion, with help of innovation and technology, has been relentlessly creating demand and making supply excel excellence, through artisans community.
Investing in human capital is priority. Based on World Development Report 2019, global economy is growing lowering poverty rate. This is right time, in narrowing the gaps, across various communities in World map. These communities have immense creative skills and need to stand-out. Innovation is accelerating, under-developed and developing countries need to take rapid action to ensure they can compete in the future.
Socio-economic development caters to urban and rural upliftment. Aspasion addressing these aspects through;
- Livelihood of sustenance for artisan’s community: Artisans, successfully executed work orders. Physically challenged artisans manufactured innovative creative products, beyond comfort zone. Case studies many, want to highlight 15 women artisans doing jute handicraft work, no job, shut down of Government Jute mill, executed NASSCOM order of 2000 notepads designed by us. The order was executed by Government manufacturing unit, Birds Jute and Exports Limited closure proceedings on, appreciated Aspasion for helping their artisans.
- Companies Growth: Working closely with product, marketing, sales team of companies. Among our various case studies, highlighting MNC Pharma company, into neonatology, topped among competitions in FY 2018-19. We received appreciation, from company and their doctors’ network. Our focus, this Specialty Unit of Pharmaceutical company continues as market leaders.
A country progresses;
- Promoting inclusive growth and,
- Achieving Sustainable Development Goals
Following UN guidelines of “leaving no one behind” our solution has integral parts;
- Process of improving terms for individuals and groups to take part in society,
- Process of improving the ability, opportunity and dignity of those disadvantaged based on their identity to take part in society
- Bringing together urban and rural in one platform. Socio-economic development is interdependence of urban growth supported by rural progress.
- Collaborating with Municipalities,includes various schemes for communities.
We strongly believe, social inclusion is foundation towards shared prosperity, with participation of every segment of society. Financial stability of every community leads to prosperous prosperity. Creating financial sustainability is our solutions fulcrum.
Our solution platform is creativity, with technology and product design / product development connecting emotions of people with closeness of togetherness. Social inclusion and shared prosperity are directly proportional to creativity.
Creativity is passion driven. Whether working with community of artisans or Self Help Groups (SHG, women in poverty and below poverty line), our plan of action follows;
- Identifying passion inside an individual by hearing their dreams
- Introduce an individual to relevant team where that person can make creative masterpieces
- Conveying to everyone, our focus is innovation. It helps urban people, companies, education institutes or Municipalities and various sectors to attain growth as our growth scales higher, only when others succeed.
- Reducing the fear factor and increasing self-confidence among these communities that we are working as facilitator for them to gain sustenance of livelihood.
We have numerous case studies of various success stories which have been possible as community of artisans, SHGs or rural human capital are motivated and confident on their own capability matrix. They feel proud and honoured to contribute to various companies / sectors healthy profit graph, results leading to financial sustainability of every community and stakeholders in urban + rural segments. Urban people realising how rural India has been contributing in their profits.
The entire process has been controlled by technology, product design and product development. Presently, technology we are using needs enhancement;
- Make our product design and development work simplified, which rural and urban segments understands with ease. This will increase reach to more people in short time. (Refer to AV Technology Bliss, uploaded in next segment).
- Help in data accumulation, preservation and analysis for betterment.
- Support communities in designing and determining solutions around critical services
- Create or advance equitable and inclusive economic growth
- Growth
- New business model or process
Innovation to us is a way to do it better - a process, we have found out to make a product elegant, creatively classy and connect with human brain, the moment product is brought in contact to human being.
Community of artisans have been making products from ages, which is much exposed in marketplace, that it has lost its creative existence.
Below example of innovation with glass, metal, jute, driftwood, fusion medium and stone . Such products have been existing for ages. We have add touch of elegance with design, refined process, colour psychology, medium and appeal on various proucts. Our designed products reached attention of our customers , establishing an emotional connect. We have experienced smiles on touch and feel of our products, in eyes of corporates who received and artisans for creating such creativity. For artisans and customer/companies, was beyond their imagination that such transformations were possible. Innovation with creativity is unlimited and continuous. Even in textile with premium quality silk and tussore fabrics we have made designs which is complex in nature, resulted in smile in our customers.

Our endeavour is to create world pool of artists and artisans, where transformation happens in thoughts and creative aesthetics. Each creative mind develops magnetic field inside and buoyant force pushes them upward to create masterpiece again and again. For transformation of changing changes, core solution has three parts;
- New business model: Restoring and reviving ancient art and tradition among various communities of artisans. This segment is most dis-organised sector. Artisans attending exhibitions across India, scared to display their best, as educated artists and middleman/creative lovers are going to theses exhibitions and replicating same and displaying as their own work in export market. Artists being poor, for their survival are quiet with tears in eyes. Presenting the tradition with touch of creative innovation through technology, methodology and feeding with knowledge + support, changed the same product. Technical know-how and capability of execution stays with artisan solely. Introduction of structural format as market study, demand creation through corporate sector and innovative product design changed gamut of product structure, making it creatively rich.
- Technology involvement in product design and product development played huge benefit in conveying to community of artisans to understand structural framework, application of fusion mediums stage wise and product look after developed.
- Methodology: New processes to enhance quality and elegance of any product, by using various new techniques, changed texture of product making quality superior and cost effective.
- Indigenous Knowledge
- Behavioral Design
- Social Networks
Recent UN report highlighted, India’s population to increase 273 million by 2050, highest among all countries. Equality of opportunity to community of artisans, plays big role in changing nature of work. Tailoring a new social change of transformation of outlook and perspective leads to early childhood development in the community.
Socio-economic development through demand creation in urban segment and fulfilment by rural sector is to create balance of continuity.
The immediate effect has been noticed across 178 artisans we are working with;
- Per day $15 more than existing $2/3 per day.
- Food, shelter and clothing improving.
- Zeal of doing better work and adhering to stringent delivery schedules, increasing productive workforce.
- Learning, taken as progressive.
- Some have been sending their children to schools.
In next 2 yrs, POA with more product orders from corporates and continuity of order flow improves;
- quality of life
- education of children is set as priority
- Increase in life expectancy with financial stability, overall improvement of food, health and shelter conditions.
In next 5yrs - 10yrs,
- Artisans, with help of advanced knowledge and technology can start training other people in villages who are still below poverty line showing them light of hope towards betterment.
- Standard of living attains equality across rural areas.
- Education spreads far and wide and teaches why;
a) population needs to be controlled
b) scarcity of resources is alarming.
c) save environment
With development of individuals, building better world becomes possible.

In last 2yrs, as one-woman army working with community of artisans in textile, wood, glass, jute and metal could reach to 178 artisans. It includes 10% physically challenged artisans and 20% women artisans. Alone have been working in product design, development, strategy, marketing and sales with focus in two cities of India – Mumbai and Kolkata. Have clientele of 11 customers. (Please refer to www.aspasion.in to get complete details.)
Fortunate to have in this month, after walking strong in my own path towards desired destination, two more team members. Hence, in next 1 year, we are covering 22 states, tier 1 and 2 cities through direct and channel partners to get purchase orders from India’s 50 organizations. The expected growth in demand will allow us to provide following assistance;
- Generate order continuity.
- Reach to 25000 artisans.
- Employment opportunity for 60 women below poverty line, collaboration with Howrah Municipal Corporation.
- Replicate the same model in Bhutan for artisan community.
- Employment generation in Glass manufacturing unit.
In 5yrs, growth plan is 250 % Y-o-Y;
- Reach to 16 million artisans worldwide .
- For women in poverty line and below poverty line,10 more employment opportunities in collaboration with Municipalities.
- Factory in Jaipur in collaboration with a premium designer institute and community of artisans doing various kind of creative work.
- Replicating CSR business model in 10 developing and under-developed country, where artisans in that country earn livelihood of sustenance.
Believe every number is possible.
Dreaming with eyes wide open, my desired goal thinking miracle genie in action for 1 year;
- Working with 7 lakh artisans.
- Creating employment for 16000 women across 22 states of India.
- Ensuring every child, in each of these families reach schools.
- Innovation reaches peak with help of technology and inter-changing of creative skills from various countries by eminent artists.
- Corporates prosper with big growth building more loyal customers, due to our products.
- India competes in creative innovation in World market.
- Replicate similar business model for community of artisans in Bhutan.
With this pace, in 5 yrs., goals will change to achievable magnet hubs, resulting;
- Working with 16 Million artisans worldwide.
- 36% rural female participation in urban jobs.
- Replicating in developing and underdeveloped countries.
- Community of artisans transforms into entrepreneurs and use technology to better opportunities, scaling their skill.
- Self-sustenance becomes DNA.
- Every artisan and their family attain basic education.
- World Development Report in 2025 projects, 50% women economic empowerment in India and other underdeveloped and developing countries.
As we travel across various parts in India and World, only smiles of happiness greets with zeal, every artisan only competes with oneself, to succeed succession of success.
Culture of equality drives innovation. Valuing women is critical factor, making societies more prosperous.
1) Financial:
- PSU banks do not give loans based on PO issued by eminent companies, with clarity of payment structure.
- Companies mostly do not pay sample charges and advance for their order execution.
- PSU and Government companies have order procurement through tenders which means lowest price needs to be quoted. In such scenario, quality suffers immensely, and we cannot lower labour charges of artisans. Hence Government orders is challenge.
2) Technical:
- Technology is blessing. Lack of technology tool, when data or artwork is input, resulting output of image or parameters to reduce time in product design and development. (Refer to AV attached below)
3) Legal:
- Working with Municipalities is challenging, experiencing with various discussions in progress. Such bodies are under influence of political ruling parties in that State or Country. Hence, every good initiative is either getting dumped with change in political powers or washed out due to political interference, instead of allowing administrative bodies to continue good work.
- Time to approve projects is delayed, long duration in succeeding to get PO.
4) Market:
- Market is huge untapped. But to reach to every city, need marketing /sales team and channel partners. Lack of funding has been restriction to increase marketing and advertising.
5) Distribution:
- Collaboration with logistic company with special price for distribution to locations, allow artisans get little more money.
Every barrier has solution. It is an opportune time to revisit and reform outdated legislation and policies that restricts good work to prosper ahead.
Following are the measures taken;
1) We have registered with Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise under Ministry of Industry and Commerce to avail:
- Funding facilities in the form of loans.
- Filling up Government tenders without EMD (Earnest Money Deposit)
2) Implemented strict norms on payment structure, to work with companies who provides 50% advance, sample charges and full payment in 30 days of delivery.
3) Increasing team through network of Channel Partners across various cities. Run various schemes to make such channel partners hungry for generating business in their respective territories.
4) Increase multiple options to generate revenue e.g. as consultants and working in collaboration with Municipality projects/ schemes. Working with projects/ schemes which Municipality has priority to implement and execute.
5) Through innovative product design and quality, create obsession for Aspasion products, brand identity gets it’s positioning in market. Demand for the brand keeps on increasing and people feel pride in using such branded products.
6) Technology challenge has been put forward in Solve. We are yet to find way to resolve the issue.
We are continuously evolving new rules with new eyes after learning from previous experiences and mistakes. We are flexible change makers. We have realised funding is key issue, moving it into zone of surplus can change lot of barriers which appears big.
- For-Profit
We are for profit organization. This question is not applicable for us.

This flexibility of work schedule and being in their home, allows women to maintain work life balance.
- Team of artisans from various locations, with varied skill set are biggest asset to company. Our endeavour is to ensure, they keep getting work and provide complete freedom to explore other opportunities. From ages, this community has immensely suffered due to various unethical work practices done by various educated urbanized middleman. Hence, we provide complete freedom to execute orders,without middlemen. Trust building for us, is a journey- We are taking small steps to gain confidence of artisans’ community.
- Lastly, psychology, management and engineering background, technology savvy, with more than 10yrs of strategy, sales and marketing experience. Each one in this team has knowledge of 1 foreign language. Hobbies being different forms of creative work.
We are for profit organization, strongly believe, increasing financial sustainability facilitates, to reach out to millions of people in poverty line and below poverty line.
Presently, discussions in progress for collaboration, with signing of documentation in line with Government rules and regulations, in few months’ time with the following;
- Howrah Municipal Corporation for generating employment for women (in poverty line and below poverty line) under Self Help Group. For plastic free world 3 initiatives have been shortlisted. Namely;
a) Replacement of plastic bags with eco-friendly fabric manufactured by Aspasion’s team with collaboration weaver’s community. These weavers have no work past few years. Under our guidance, 60 women will start work. Plant and machinery provided by Municipality.
b) Home delivery and catering services to Government offices, PSUs, tourist spots under Tourism department, consultation by Aspasion and financial support by Municipality.
c) Replacement of plastic cups and glass with recycled ceramics. Training by Aspasion, Plant and machinery Municipality.
- MSME (Micro, small and medium enterprise) Central Government,CGCRI as technology provider, for glass cluster that will meet demand and supply needs.Employment generating for 200 glass artisans. MSME providing machinery, State Government land and Aspasion has to construct factory.
Our business model has following focal points:
- product design and development
- strategic consultation across every section of company for profit maximization Q-o-Q.
-beautification work in airports, hotels, offices to spread positivity and increase in business, it’s emotional connect.
-R & D for non-stop innovation.
- converting any theme or concept into tangible product.
- Training and knowledge sharing with community of artisans.
2) Key resources:
- Every type of companies, education institutes, governing bodies in various disciplines e.g. CII, NASSCOM etc.
-Finance for R & D, operations, samples, travel expenses and order execution.
-Team of strategist, marketing, sales, designers, Photoshop,artists, CAs, auditor, logistics, research scientists and community of artisans.
3)Channels is very important network for business expansion across every city. It’s work-in-progress to find similar minds.
4) Socio-economic development model involving urban and rural balancing in right proportion has success stories in last 1.5yrs. We have 11 reputed customers (refer to www.aspasion.in ).The impact of our value proposition has been earning goodwill points. E.g. We designed premium leather sling bags for Reserve Bank of India, national conference. Our product impact resulted in receiving call from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
5) In cost structure, no compromise on quality and labour charges. Product cost= manufacturing cost+ designing cost+ logistics. Aspasion Creativity is profitable. Successful in making artisans and customers both happy. Developing surplus in continuity is miles to go.

Our financial sustainability roadmap in 1.5yrs has been systematically fulfilling respective missions by covering administrative cost. Aspasion is financed by founder and co-founder till date.
Income diversion has two parts;
- Internal income generation through selling our products and services which involves various types of fundamental models has only been operational till date. Different models applied as solution, catering to specific market demands, destination has been fixed and constant. Paths adopted either Employment model or Entrepreneur Support Model or any other mode is flexible, to reach desired destination. Referring to Marianne Williamson, “In every community, there is work to be done. In every nation there are wounds to heal. In every heart there is power to do it.” Hence power of every heart starts by buying products and services as each purchase provides livelihood of sustenance to community of artisans- has been conveyed in Indian market to boost B2C.
- Diversification in sources are through multiple other income resources which can be through donations, grants and raising investment capital. Till date, this has not been progressed due to lack of advice and guidance. This must be explored to create surplus and financial sustainability. Yes, we believe 60% of the organizations budget must come from five different sources.
Sound administrative and finance we are abiding from very first day of our operations.
Own income generation, to diversify sources of revenue, discussions in progress for glass manufacturing unit and working with new engagements through Howrah Municipality.

“Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.”- Hellen Keller
In 2yrs of operation, have felt the need of guidance many times. Every individual has capability to excel and standout. Together with MIT we want to reach to all such individuals. A well-balanced society promotes socio-economic development effectively and efficiently.
Solve is a platform with potential, in supporting us to make our World a better place to live by;
- Empowering us to overcome barriers connected with technology, mentoring, financial sustainability and guiding to path of dream fulfilment, that changes life of community across regions and geographies, everyone deserves to get best.
We are born to win but the hurdles in front of us are big;
- Technology that will empower us to give certain guidelines in product design (refer to video Technology Bliss uploaded). Facilitate innovation by giving framework to our thoughts, when input data is submitted.
- Finance has been restricting movement of growth and scalability. E.g. After successful completion of projects of BU, we could not take up new work from other BU of same company. Not in position to execute too many orders in same period due to funding challenge.
- Mentor highlighting holistic picture and minimize failures. The knowledge which forms an umbrella, to protect from immediate adverse situations. Growth and scalability needs streamlining of models/process /introducing some new changes, that will be more beneficial for us to reach out to millions of people.
- Business model
- Technology
- Distribution
- Funding and revenue model
- Talent or board members
- Legal
- Monitoring and evaluation
- Media and speaking opportunities
We have not selected other, hence this question is not applicable.
Our focus always, to help others to succeed, result yielded our success story. Hence, customers smile is our appreciation, to continue helping our customers resolve challenges, accelerating growth and expansion for their organization.
Understand reality of a very famous quote by Saint Teresa,” I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the water to create many ripples.’’
Creating ripples is insufficient, having sustenance of ripples, ensuring proper execution, to benefit millions across communities, every geography, is absolute necessity. Only partnerships and collaborations, makes it possible.
Our solution of creative innovation is driven by love, but lacking togetherness of big team, to take it ahead and replicate in under developing and developing countries.
Our solution is driven by passion and its significance, but needs empowerment of technology to connect the gaps, which gradually increases, if not addressed immediately.
Our solution is driven by profitability, providing growth to our end customers and financial help to artisans we have been working with. But seeking its own financial sustainability to provide livelihood of sustenance and employment to more community individuals.
Our solution has business models and strategies of prosperity but still is incomplete without a mentor who makes the hard work with continuous effort a cake walk.
Yes, our solution needs partnering. We seek guidance from MIT/ SOLVE to guide us through growth into scalability. Next year let world experience live success story of smiling million hearts – Its SOLVE!
The most desired blessing is AI becomes sunshot for emotional connect and moonshot for creativity- the two most important pillars of our solution. AI prize strengthens creativity and innovation in human beings, improving growth and connectivity. When we are working on product development, AI can facilitate following;
1) Speed up creative process of developing innovative product, focusses on product look from various angles, colours, shapes. Enhances creative thinking of designers/ product development team on its probable outcomes. This will create huge impact on our;
a) Perspective, planning, knowledge, reasoning towards the unknown to known.
b) Community of artisans will get more clarity while developing the product, as explaining them innovation would be simpler.
c) AI will cover non-obvious insights. This will help all people from product design to development to manufacturing sync in common perception, with ability to manipulate and make necessary changes to establish emotional connect, making every customer mind happy faster. This increases happiness quotient worldwide, leading to progressive socio-economic development.
2) Transform global communication, connecting people worldwide across various countries, making simple and easy learning unique platform, ignoring geographic limitations. Improper Packaging/ presentation can cause cultural impact, on new product introduction in market across geographies. Countries has its own emotions, incorrect signs/symbols, destroys hard work, resulting financial loss. AI works as problem solving team member.
AI has capability to make creativity and innovation obstruction free, faster reach to millions of communities. Lot of miles to cover in short duration, to restore happiness -Our One Happy World!
Yes, we believe that,” No other investment yields as great a return as the investment in education. An educated workforce is the foundation of every community and the future of every economy.”
Only STEM education fosters prosperity and social mobility to understand and speak the language of progressing world.
There is two way to address community related challenge;
- Directly and,
- Indirectly
We are addressing this challenge indirectly.
Firstly, creating livelihood of sustenance for community of artisans which still has miles to go to flourish its full potential, as a sustainable source of income generation, employment and economic growth for impoverished communities around the globe. As per search results in google, the global artisan economy is $34 billion per year industry. Once, this huge community becomes self-sufficient, can afford education benefits for their children and family members.
Secondly, continuous interaction with artisans have created ardent curiosity and interest among artisans in;
- how through technology any waste or damaged raw materials can be reused and,
- With mathematics calculate effective manufacturing cost.
Thirdly, creating employment for Self Help Groups in collaboration with Municipalities/ State Governments, increase earnings, leading to children education giving housing and health priority.
Our present work is miniscule,not even 1% of huge community of people seeking help. Empower us, with your power- guidance,team and technology, to reach 50% communities worldwide in year's time.
We always approach current or existing challenges with new eyes, that helps same old problem find innovative way in getting resolved, leading to prosperity and happiness.
“Educate a boy, and you educate an individual. Educate a girl, and you educate a community.”- Adelaide Hoodless
Aspasion focus has been not 55% women in Community of artisans in India, but also women who are in poverty line and below poverty line under Howrah Municipal Corporation.
For Community of women artisans, our existing work follows;
- Employment generation for 20 women (jute artisans), an order of 2525 quantity for NASSCOM and NTPC.
- In discussion with Howrah Municipality for implementation and execution of schemes generating employment for Self Help Groups like;
a) Plastic replacement initiative- Starting with 60 SHGs and scaling to 100 in 6 months.
b) Food and catering services: Cooking is mostly every women’s passion. Following standard regulations/laws under this industry and making SHGs across regions master in particular food product segment to be best. Training and marketing managed by us.
Opportunity to generate employment for women across regions or geographies has many innovative ideas but we need more people, to join this movement of re-building communities of women.
The work we are doing, is not even tip of iceberg, we are moving towards glacier. Culture of equality only drives innovation and progress in communities. Data projected by GMD of World Bank, highlights responsibility is mammoth to increase female labour participation, but achievable if every corporate/urban woman empowers another rural woman.
Community of refugee needs empathy, starting point for creating community. It’s the impetus of creating change, active participation and taking action.
Our approach towards every community has been always progressive and to uplift another individual, community or organization.
Yes, its true at present when we are submitting our solution to SOLVE, have not done work with Refugee community. But working with Municipalities, if we get such initiative, we would go ahead to collaborate. Tremendous effort and time required to build a model and execute through various process, which are running on their own. We are in stage of building various teams which will help in completing sustainable processes. Eg every product requires gift wrap which sets first impression of how the product inside would be. Need teams of individuals who can get trained on such gift wrap art and packaging.
Similarly, our solution has scope of generating employment opportunities.
Type of involvement depends on understanding their passionate minds. And then, planning solution which will have following ingredients;
- Earning for livelihood
- Learning new things
- Identifying own capability matrix
- Socio-economic development
To Andan Foundation, give us a case study to do pilot and then judge our capability. We will be grateful to work with you, only if you have believe in our belief.
Pew Research Centre, under social and demographic trends, has laid list of challenges, major problems faced urban, suburban and rural communities in USA. Our focus area is;
- Drug addiction
- Availability of affordable housing
- Availability of jobs
- Health issues
- Poverty
Agree, yet to work in USA, believe mind-set of poorest people remains same across countries USA/ India/ Africa. The poorest populations raise a prodigious new managerial challenge; selling to the poor and helping them improve their lives by producing and distributing products and services in culturally sensitive, environmentally sustainable and economically profitable ways. In this journey, we need support from Municipalities/ Government/ health agencies, technologists, psychologists, similar interest NGOs/ people and artists of locality.
Winning prize money, focus is resolving Poverty- poor cannot continue to be bottom of pyramid. Solving poverty issue, will provide financial sustainability and addressing every other challenge. Create work environment, creatively innovative (less boredom)and using recycle/waste material , establishing emotional connect.
The process flow as follows;
- Select locality, identifying similar interests’ people, group formation. Imperative to mention, data collection/maintenance, responsibly preserving and updating is vital. Government agencies/research organizations being best sources. Collate/complete data table making relevant changes and given to relevant Government agencies (secured data bank), take access when required.
- Connect psychological mind in group with creativity to keep self-motivated and passion driven.
- Capacity building
- Product and production line
- Cash flow stabilization
- Sustainable marketing with continuity order flow generated
- Independent sustainable entrepreneurs emerge.
Words of Leroy Hood, “Don’t underestimate the power of your vision to change the world. Whether that world is your office, your community, an industry or a global movement, you need to have core belief that what you contribute can fundamentally change the paradigm or way of thinking about problems.”
Have presented my concept, being invited in first diversity conclave organised by Duetsche Bank in Mumbai, India in 2013. But professionals around me, ignored my perspective and asked me to follow norms and regulations laid by CSR in India.
In 2014, being invited by International Women Leadership Forum in Mumbai, India convinced the Chairperson to give an opportunity to do a soft launch of my concept. CSR for community of artisans cannot be charity/donation but business model which establishes emotional connect. Received special award and appreciation across professionals from various industries.
The journey of transforming CSR perspective, how emotional connect benefits companies has been continuous hard work. Neither NGOs/ NPOs accepted, nor product/ brand managers. Corporate were reluctant to accept emotional connect can be tangible offering of product. Rejections more, but acceptance changed to loyalty. Believe gain momentum, with list of 11 top customers as our clients.
Roadblocks continuing, effort has been effortless. Many initiatives are in process, for approval in collaboration with various department of Central and State Government.
Miles to go to bring innovation and transformation for our target community, our purpose. Need immense support. Winning prize, big platform, accelerates movement reducing hurdles.
Remember this quote-” This world of ours…must avoid being a community of dreadful fear and hate and be, instead a proud confederation of mutual trust and respect.”
Good quality residing inside people, associated with gun violence are;
- Energetic both physical and mental
- Focus till it’s executed
- Realistic dreamers, leads to execution
- Extrovert and introvert, smart but also naive
- Conservative, yet rebellious
- Sensitive and passionate
Incidentally, all above qualities are ingredients of creative minds. Every individual has something special ,which they are born with. Sometimes, it gets nurtured and blossoms; for some it remains subdued due to periphery of environment in which such brain is feeding from childhood.
Prevention is always better than protection. Our answer to this solution, with help of technology, reaching out to such magical brains in these communities, recognizing efforts of struggle and helping them to identify beautiful creative mind within;
- Early childhood
- Inspiring adolescence through workshops cum trainings with various artists in the World. Motivating in making them realise special powers and their contribution to benefit mankind.
- Making these people to colour and build structures in their community to make tourist attraction points. Tourism generates employment opportunities.
- Organize prize money for developing their neighbourhood and making it zone of creative progress.
- Teach technology to improve their living and be support arm for other communities.
This process is journey, not destination. Requires participation of artists, psychologists and local development bodies/ police departments.
