I am solving the problem of joblessness and poverty in our society that leads to a high rate of crime, insecurity and underdevelopment.

In a 1-10 scale, the scale of this problem on my society is 7, this is already a challenging factor in my community and globally.

A large number of persons are affected by this, people get educated, graduate from school and have no job to cater for their needs, and no acquired skill to pull through. The uneducated people in the society who for the reason of poverty or other reason could not afford education have no skill to fall back on to meet their daily needs/necessities of life.

Waiting for the government to do something is like waiting till forever, the society needs to take up this challenge, face it and solve it.

My solution is basically going to teach skills to people such as 

ICT/media: in the ICT/media we have several courses that can create wealth when learnt such as graphic design, programming, app creation, audio engineering and management, video production and editing, application of AI software, amongst many.

Tailoring and fabric design

Cosmetology/perfumery

Production of shoe and Bag

Catering(local and intercontinental dishes)

Make-up artistry

Etc.

At the end of each skill training, we will empower every participant via short business courses and a start up park that contain all necessary equipment for business start up to enable them set up business for themselves in their desired field. We will also monitor each business and ensure that it’s thriving and meet up with expectations.

Also we will offer some certification courses to graduates that can enable easy and quick employability benefits.

our target population is basically the uneducated and unskilled people of workable ages, both male and female.

We intend to also help some educated graduates who can not afford to pay for further certifications that can help their employability.

I believe that I and my team are the best people to carry out this project, and this is because we are highly driven and passionate about the needs of the society, we live in the midst of this challenges, we have been victims of this challenges, we have applied this idea and it worked for us with visible proof. Therefore, we know that this idea can only be productive  if we are given the opportunity to carry it out.
