Dozens of Sustainable Development Goals are of central importance to the development success of the least developed countries. If people from these areas often get rejected to enter other countries, they will not be able to learn and get help from the international community. The Global Visa Politics project is meant to make public visa rejection rates of different countries through crowdsourcing freedom of information (FOI) requests among Open Government and Open data communities as a tool of data production. When the information of visa rejection is revealed, it is possible for activists and groups to weigh in on the policy solutions in their regions for the goal of international exchange and mobility.
