Creative Switzerland - explore your creative potential

Creative Switzerland promotes creative workshops providers and their exceptional skills with a platform and personalized content/marketing strategies, marketing advice and Creative Masterminds. It takes away the struggles from them of not having enough time, skills and financial resources to reach their true business potential. Creative Switzerland aims to support creative entrepreneurs all around Switzerland with the tools to achieve entrepreneurial success and to empower entrepreneurship among them.

Creative Switzerland brings together local creative workshops providers in Switzerland with travelers. Through the local creative experience, the bridges and intercultural understanding between nations are built.

During the creative workshop participants are creating things with their hands. This way, they develop their creative skills and learn new ones. Creative Switzerland boosts creativity as one of the needed skills all around Switzerland and beyond.

Creative workshops (services) providers are struggling with sales and marketing activities. It takes too much time, energy and financial resources to learn the skills or to outsource them to big marketing agencies.

Lack of creative skills: creative and critical thinking influences performance in the modern workplace. Creative skills are according to the World Economic Forum one of the most needed in the workplace. Creativity needs to be encouraged among communities to develop Swiss innovation, to scale it and spread the word abroad. This business model can be simply implemented all around the world.

Intercultural understanding needs to be built - it can be done through authentic local experiences.

Creative Switzerland supports local creative workshops providers, very often solopreneurs and creates a community of people who want to bring more creativity to the world with their services. Most of them are women who aiming to have an entrepreneurial success. Understanding their needs and struggles was the beginning of creation of Creative Switzerland. Together with Creative Switzerland: an online platform to promote their creative workshop, I also organize Creative Masterminds where they can explore new ideas and find solutions for their challenges together with people from different backgrounds.

Creative Switzerland is an online booking platform that promotes creative workshops providers and their exceptional skills with this digital platform and personalized content/marketing strategies, marketing advice and Creative Masterminds. Creative Switzerland aims to support creative entrepreneurs all around Switzerland with the tools to achieve entrepreneurial success and to empower entrepreneurship among them.
I built the working MVP on my own with online available tools.

Creative Switzerland focuses on creativity and creative industries - a too often misunderstood and forgotten field.

Creative Switzerland digitalizes the creative potential of Switzerland, and gives local community business opportunities. The online platform, I have created is a prototype, I am testing at the moment. In the future, I would like to use machine learning/social networks as parts of the solution to bring the best activities to the right people.

Creativity and creative skills from the local communities need to be acknowledged, digitalized, and promoted.

Now: over 30 creative workshops providers, over 150 workshops on the platform, a broader community of (potential) participants
In 5 years: over 5000 creative workshops providers, over 10.000 workshops, international community

Next year:
Business Development: Contacted potential creative workshops providers (visiting their workshops) and developing partnerships with them,
strategical cooperations with media partners and travel / creative organizations in Switzerland and abroad (Japan, China, USA, Canada, Singapore), expansion to other places in Switzerland

Next 5 years: creating local centers, German version of the website, New workshops / fields / creators, expansion abroad with this business model (to consider: Japan, Singapour, Canada, New Zealand, Denmark, Norway, United States), strategical cooperation with national tourism and local tourism organizations, and local creators

Iwona Fluda as initiator of Creative Switzerland
30 very supportive creators

1 contractor: part-time

It is a commission based business model (10% from the booking). I am also testing the subscription model at the moment (freemium, medium, premium model).

I believe that creativity can change the world. Teaching and learning creative skills can both change the behavior of a person and the whole society. Every single person is creative and creativity is one of the most important characteristics of being human.

I would like to share our passion for creativity, social entrepreneurship and intercultural communication with a broad audience. I believe that with Creative Switzerland, we can contribute to the well-being of many people and at the end to the world peace. I love creating opportunities and networks, and I want to get better at it. MIT Solve would provide me with a unique opportunity not only to do more collaborative projects but also to do them in an environment where I can constantly learn and improve our international partnership experience.
I am looking to “professionalise” me start-up – something that would be much faster and easier with the feedback from mentors, experts, potential investors and collaborative environment in general.

I hope that Solve will help me to bring this idea to the global audience and to create an international creativity movement.

International educational organizations, travel organizations, travel agencies, governmental and non-governmental organizations, alternative learning associations etc.

I would like to partner with the above mentioned organizations by organizing exchanges, workshops, conferences, media partnerships and feature their ideas on the global version of the platform.
