What is your solution?
ImmigrantBizHub is an inclusive, tech-based solution for individuals facing barriers to traditional employment who want to earn sustainable income through small business ownership. Grounded in the belief that anyone regardless of immigration status can build a livelihood through entrepreneurship, it makes financial readiness and business development accessible and engaging. Building on the success of Spark, our existing platform, ImmigrantBizHub uses gamification to motivate and empower participants to explore entrepreneurship with confidence. The curriculum is tailored to the needs of immigrant entrepreneurs, addressing challenges such as navigating credit and financial systems. Its human-centered design uses clear, jargon-free language to ensure accessibility. ImmigrantBizHub also fosters a collaborative environment that encourages peer learning and shared experiences. To support varying levels of tech familiarity, the platform features a clean, intuitive interface with simple navigation and a responsive design that works seamlessly across devices.
Who does your solution serve, and in what ways will the solution impact their lives?
ImmigrantBizHub serves immigrant entrepreneurs across the United States, particularly those who face systemic barriers such as work authorization, language access, limited support networks, and lack of culturally relevant business support. Our users include early-stage entrepreneurs, small business owners, and individuals exploring self-employment as a pathway to economic stability. Built by immigrant entrepreneurs themselves, ImmigrantBizHub provides equitable access to trusted, easy-to-navigate resources, tools, and guidance that directly address the unique barriers immigrant entrepreneurs face—regardless of immigration status. By expanding beyond one-on-one support, the platform significantly scales our reach, enabling entrepreneurs to learn at their own pace and access support when they need it. This flexible, user-centered approach meets individuals where they are, helping them build confidence, develop practical skills, and take meaningful steps toward launching and sustaining their businesses.
