ENVIRONMENTAL DRONES BY @esthero611-wisetag

The effect of air pollution on the environment, economic and health of the people in the affected countries cannot be overemphasized. Some of the major air pollutants are ozone (O3), particulate matter (PM), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), carbon dioxide (CO2), sulfur dioxide (SO2), carbon monoxide (CO). Some of these pollutants occur naturally in the environment and some are generated through man-made activities.

PM pollution is a portion of air pollution that is made up of extremely
small particles and liquid droplets containing acids, organic chemicals,
metals, and soil or dust particles. Exposure to ground level ozone can lead
to respiratory symptoms, and airway inflammation, lung epithelial
damage and decrease in mucociliary clearance [1] A high concentration of NO2 can irritate airways in the respiratory system, and can aggravate and cause the development of respiratory diseases, particularly asthma [1]. Some of the effects of carbon monoxide pollution include fatigue, decreased oxygen-carrying capacity, impaired perfusion from hypoxic cardiac function, and cellular hypoxia [1]. A high concentration of CO2 is partly responsible for global warming, and it reduces the fertility of marine animals [1]. In humans, CO2 pollution can cause cardiac arrhythmias and seizures, severe acidosis and anoxia [1]. Exposure to ammonia (NH3) can cause immediate burning of the nose, throat and respiratory tract, bronchiolar and alveolar edema, airway destruction, and respiratory distress or failure [1]. Air pollution also has a detrimental effect on climate and agricultural crops [1].

Air Quality Index (AQI) is used by government agencies to communicate to the public how polluted the air currently is or how polluted it is forecast to become. Many countries monitor ground-level ozone (O3), particulate matter (PM), sulfur dioxide (SO2), carbon monoxide (CO), and nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and calculate their national AQI based on these pollutants. The definition of the AQI in a particular nation is determined by the development of national air quality standards in that nation.

The monitoring of air pollution concentrations is done using Ground Monitoring Stations that cannot measure the relevant parameters at altitudes above ground level. Further more, these Ground Monitoring Stations, even when they do detect dangerous air pollution concentrations that exceed nationally determined thresholds, they are unable to perform any air pollution abatement or removal to reduce or eliminate any of the air pollutants.

We are looking to develop a technology solution that automates the detection, measurement, monitoring, and abatement of GreenHouse Gases (GHGs) - (Methane (CH4), Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Particulate Matter (P.M.2.5 and P.M.10), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Ozone (O3)), at altitudes above ground level in any and all countries.

Environmental Drones or E-drones are Programmed Autonomous Drones used for pollution monitoring  (CH4, CO2, CO, O3, P.M.2.5, P.M. 10, NO2, and SO2), detection, and abatement at altitudes above ground level in a specific geographic region. E-drones produce Air Quality Index (AQI) maps of covered regions for environmental data monitoring and long-term analysis.

The Environmental Drone (E-drone) can be operated every hour to measure the AQI at a particular location, or it can be adjusted depending on the desired frequency. The drone determines it has sufficient battery power before the start of take off from ground level. Each drone is equipped with a Solar Panel Power Base Charger that contains a Solar Panel and an additional long-term battery for automatic charging of the E-drone. This is the landing pad for the Environmental Drone and it connects to it once it lands on the ground.

The E-drone takes off when automatic power is supplied to the rotors of the drone using ESCs, and the drone flies up to a pre-determined altitude, Ealtitude, as pre-determined. The height is measured using an onboard altimeter. The pre-determined height is chosen to have the maximum effect when pollution abatement is implemented for any detected pollution concentration that is excessive.

Once the E-drone gets to the Ealtitude, it hovers at that location and measures the environmental data at that point. The air pollution concentrations for the following pollutants are measured:  SO2, NO2, P.M.2.5, P.M10, O3, CO2, CO, NH3 and CH4. If any of the measured pollutants exceed a concentration that is above a pre-determined threshold, the E-drone implements the on-board abatement solution for that particular pollutant. The volume of the pollution abatement solution released depends on the concentration level of the pollutants detected. This ensures that the pollution concentration level is brought down to acceptable levels. These on-board abatement options are used to alter measured high AQHI of pollutants and are carried out at the Ealtitude.
The E-drone descends back to the Solar Panel Base Charger on the ground, and then transmits the measured data to Environmental Monitoring Stations. It also sends in the pollution abatement data that was performed, if any.
Multiple E-Drones are used to obtain GHG Emissions detection and abatement data at different sites and locations. A Custom-Designed AQI software is utilized to view the Drone Data acquired by Individual Environmental Drones,  showing the measured AQI for different locations within the specified region.

The target population for the Environmental Drones are the citizens of countries who are affected by air pollution.

In particular, we are interested in fabricating and deploying the Environmental Drones across the States of USA and United Kingdom.

The effects of air pollution on the citizens in these countries have already been highlighted and detailed above and are provided in the reference material.

Finding and deploying a technology that will automate the monitoring and maintenance of the air quality in any nation will have a significantly positive impact on the environment, economy, and health of the citizens in that nation.

As mentioned before, there are is automated technology to measure and abate air pollution at altitudes above ground level. Therefore citizens in countries where air pollution is present are currently underserved.

The Environmental Drones will enable countries to detect, monitor, and

maintain the desired purity of their air quality automatically and autonomously.

This will prevent the financial losses due to health-related illnesses that arise from air pollution, and will also preserve the environment of the country.

Our team is well-positioned to deliver the Environmental Drone Solution to the United States of America and to the United Kingdom, because our company, OLAWUYI RACETT NIGERIA LTD., WELLINGTON SQUARE, OXFORD, OX1 2JD, UNITED KINGDOM RC14668218 has been awarded the Status of LIFE MEMBER by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (iEEE) in the United States as of January 1, 2024, because of our demonstrated stong commitment to the field of Engineering.

We are well positioned therefore to deliver the Environmental Drone to both the United States of America (USA) and the United Kingdom (UK).

OLAWUYI RACETT NIGERIA LTD., WELLINGTON SQUARE, OXFORD, OX1 2JD,      LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM RC146682818 is at the Pilot Stage in Terms of Developing the Environmental Drone because of the following reasons:

!. We have completed the conception and design for the Environmental Drone.

2. We have sucesfully tested 2 Physical Protoypes of the E-drone and its ability to conduct GHG detecion, measurment, monitoring, and abatement of GHGs (CH4, CO2, CO, O3, P.M.2.5, P.M. 10, NO2, and SO2), at altitudes above ground level.

3. We have developed the Custom AQI software for the Environmental Drones in Many Countries.

4. We have partnered with the Global Methane Initiative (www.globalmethane.org) in Washington DC, USA, as a Private Sector Company to market the Innovative Environmental Drone to companies and organizations

5. We are participating at the 2024 Global Methane Forum in Geneva, Switzerland March 18-21, 2024 to market the Environmental Drones to Companies and Organizations there.

OLAWUYI RACETT NIGERIA LTD., WELLINGTON SQUARE, OXFORD, OX1 2JD,      LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM RC146682818 is applying to Solve for the following reasons:

1. To get contacts with the Right Agencies (such as the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in the USA) to assist us in helping them establish and maintain the Air Quality Index (AQI) Standards in the Country.

2. To gain connections to the Right Environmental Partners in the Environmental Industry to help us in manufacturing the Environmental Drone and to conduct more intensive Pilot studies in the United States and in the United Kingdom. We would need both TECHNICAL and FINANCIAL collaborations with the Partners Solve would provide for our company to successfully deploy the Environmental Drone.

The use of drones to acquire national environmental data, or to establish National Air Quality  Index Standards, or to perform aerial pollution abatement has yet to be implemented by any nation. To date, there is no automated drone capable of measuring the air pollution concentrations of all the important air pollutants (Methane (CH4), Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Carbon Monoxide (CO),  Particulate Matter (P.M.2.5 and P.M.10), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Ozone  (O3)). Furthermore, there is no aerial system that is capable of performing air pollution  abatement of air pollutants at altitudes above ground level. This is necessary in order to effectuvely combat global warming and climate change across any nation.

Environmental Drones (E-drones) are Programmed Autonomous Drones used for pollution monitoring  (CH4, CO2, CO, O3, P.M.2.5, P.M. 10, NO2, and SO2), detection, and abatement at altitudes above ground level  in a specific geographic region. E-drones produce Air Quality Index (AQI) maps of covered regions for  environmental data monitoring and long-term analysis. E-drones are the first aerial systems  (especially drone-wise) designed to conduct aerial pollution abatement, following successful pollution detection. E-drones will enable any country to not only aerially monitor and detect the concentrations of GREENHOUSE GASES (GHGs),  but will also enable them to automatically and autonomously perform air pollution reduction where and when it is required. E-drones are targeted for companies and organizations required to detect, mesure, monitor and abate GreenHouse Gas (GHG) Emissions in any country.

In order to comprehensively address the effects of Global Warming and Climate Change, technologies need to be developed that are capable of

1. Minimizing the amount of GHGs (CH4, CO2, CO, O3, P.M.2.5, P.M. 10, NO2, and SO2)

emitted from known Identified Sources, such as Gas Flaring in the Oil and Gas Industry.

2. Removal of the Existing GHGs (CH4, CO2, CO, O3, P.M.2.5, P.M. 10, NO2, and SO2) that have already been emitted into the society.

Presently, all the current technologies developed for Climate Action and Global Warming are only able to attempt to minize the amount of GHGs (CH4, CO2, CO, O3, P.M.2.5, P.M. 10, NO2, and SO2) emitted from known Identified Sources, and are unable to do anything to address the GHGs (CH4, CO2, CO, O3, P.M.2.5, P.M. 10, NO2, and SO2) that have already been emitted into the atmosphere.

The Environmental Drones owned by OLAWUYI RACETT NIGERIA LTD., OX1 2JD RC14668218 is the first technology that has proven capable fo conducting Aerial Air Pollution Abatement of GHGs (CH4, CO2, CO, O3, P.M.2.5, P.M. 10, NO2, and SO2) that have already been emitted into the environment.

By provinding a means for countries to effectively monitor and abate the GHGs (CH4, CO2, CO, O3, P.M.2.5, P.M. 10, NO2, and SO2) that have already been emitted into the atmosphere, the Environmental Drones will direct impact on the atmospheres in these countries and will drive down global warming and climate change across the world.

The impact we expect have in deploying the Environmental Drones in the United States and in the United Kingdom are as follows:

1. We would like to deploy a Single Environmental Drone to automatically detect and measure the GHGs (CH4, CO2, CO, O3, P.M.2.5, P.M.10, NO2, and SO2) emmited in these 2 countries.

2. Once this is done, we would like to then establish a collaboration with Environmantal Progection Agencies, such as the EPA in the United States to work with them in providing AQI data in their countries.

3. We would like to provide our Custom AQI software to these Agencies and Organizations to help them keep track of their Environmental Data and conduct long-term analysis on their Environment to combat Climate Change.

4. We would like to help the EPA and other such Organizations establish, maintain, and monitor their Environmental Air Quality Index (AQI) Standards using the Environmental Drones.

5. Next, we would like to continue to work with these Environmental Protection Agencies to explore our innovative aerial air pollution abatement technoloogies existing in our Environmental Drones.

6. Finally, we would like to expand on the deployment of the Environmental Drones from a Single Drone in the United States and a Single Drone in the United Kingdom to multiple drones to cover each state in both countries.

The core technology for the Environmental Drones owned by OLAWUYI RACET NIGEIRA LTD, WELLINGTON SQUARE, OXFORD, OX1 2JD, LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM RC14668218 are:

1. Robotics:The Environmental Drone is an automated drone programmed to detect, measure, monitor and abate GHGs (CH4, CO2, CO, O3, P.M.2.5, P.M. 10, NO2, and SO2) at altitudes above ground level.

2. Artificial Intelligence (AI): AI is employed to automatically decide if the measured AQI for the existing GHGs (CH4, CO2, CO, O3, P.M.2.5, P.M. 10, NO2, and SO2) are acceptable, and if not, what abatement technique or module needs to be employed to successfully tamper down the increase of the identified GHG whose threshold is not acceptable.

3. Software: The Environmental drone has its own custom AQI software to acquire, display and monitor the measured AQI data from the Environmental Drones.

OLAWUYI RACETT NIGERIA LTD., WELLINGTON SQUARE, OXFORD, OX1 2JD, LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM RC14668218 has already developed and tested TWO (2) Physical Prototypes of the Environmental Drones.

The results from the Testing of the Environmental Drone can be found in the following publication:
