The frontend part of an app is the major cause for energy consumption: intense energy is used to transfer data back and forth between front and backend. Energy and internet cost money. Also,  huge batteries and lots of storage are required.

Mindus apps are max 42MB (= 8 photos). By placing the whole content of the app in the cloud*, Mindus app lifts material and financial barriers to offer inclusion and solve Digital Divide.  *web apps are also in the cloud, but you still need a lot of GB to open HTML pages.

Even though, thanks to digitalization, it's amazing to access these quality courses online, it still requires a lot of local storage in your device, and a good bandwidth available. 

As our solution could be compared to a simple "physical" change in the making of apps - the whole app is in the backend, solving this situation. you do not download huge HTML pages ( as in Webapps ), you do not fill your mobile phone storage. The load of data is so compressed that 3G is fine, therefore you do not have to buy extra GB.

The Impossible Cleanup by Mindus

Our little scientific app that followed the Expedition in the Pacific ocean covered the history behind the cleanup that started 2019, the daily logs, distress functions with GPS, plastic analysis, collect methods and transportation.

All of it in a tiny app using a Starlink.

The app will stay alive, as it more analytics of the plastic collected will be added.

Once deployed, a fee per concurrent user is paid to Mindus for hosting the app in Mindus server.

With our corporate customers, we apply classical long terms license agreements. Licences are purchased, along with support agreements. These support fees are annual recurrent revenue.

Regarding the public solution, an SAAS model is in place. The use of the platform and its support is free of charge. Once the app is deployed, a fee is required to host the app in Mindus server, inhouse or external.
