Precise Poise & Manners is an educational academy established to integrate the value of good character, self awareness and excellent mindset in the young generation for personal and nation building.
Our mission is to empower the education and family system with the right tool to equip and nurture the young mind for excellence and transformational impact.
We believe that Education is a vital aspect of growth in every society and our focus of Character Education- involving emotional intelligence, etiquette, mindset make over will help learners in our society to become more self aware of their inner possibilities, unleash their authentic self and thereby enhance courage and audacity to envision and make transformative impact as they progress and grow in life.
We focus on Cognitive behavioural management by collaborating with schools and family related organizations so as to reduce the level of misconduct, inappropriate manners, lack of moral values due to negligence in some of the family & school system by providing a change of mindset orientation through our trainings, programs and resources.

Precise Poise and Manners as an educational consulting organization already has a framework that allows the LEAP Project fit in to the plan. We have an initiative to reach about 5000 pupils and so there is a strategic plan to accommodate the 3-4 hours of work per week.
The Team Lead ensures the team members have their roles clearly stated to them and the time required for them to work.
There is proper dissemination of communication as to which project take priorities. The LEAP Project is an enhancing factor to the current stage the organization is at and the purpose align to what we intend to achieve. While there are other demands of the organization that requires execution. The Team Lead will see to delegating some of her part time staff to carrying out some task to work with the appointed Project manager.
The good thing is the same approach & framework to reaching the target audience are deployed and this rules out some rigors that could have been encountered in the process or preparation of the project.
Supporting the holistic development of children through their emotional, social & mental well-being
It is of great importance to highlight these problems and challenges because of the detrimental impact it will have on the society at different cadres of influence if necessary transformational actions are not taken to curb the rise of mediocre mindset, inappropriate manners, lack of empathy and low level of integrity will only lead to an under developed, stagnant & inefficient society in a matter of time.

The solution is centered around inculcating a character building into educational curriculum activities in an engaging, fun and impactful way.
The teaching session will help children to understand who they are and the possibilities they are capable of achieving, naming & identifying their emotions and how to relate with others which are life skills that need to be developed from a young age.
The curriculum is divided to school termly sessions
Give an orientation of the program and expectations with the school administrators and teachers
Provide resources that will aid their learning in an engaging way
Each week the program will run has different learning styles
Weekly activity report and criteria will be done by providing a monitoring & evaluation system.
Provide counselling and intervention as needed
Give bi-weekly recognition & award to encourage improved learners
Share this development with the school administrators and suggest further directives that will strengthen the implementation.

The development of good character in young people should be a collective effort of parents, teachers, community. Character education and building is a systematic, comprehensive and planned approach to teach morals, while the building is the process to which children acquire the concept of right and wrong and also develop the ability to regulate their emotions and behaviours which further inform how they comport their selves in the society.
Early stage life is a critical moment where children learn the characters that help shape who they would become , values such as honesty, integrity, respect, empathy are to be learned by teachers and parents.
There is an increasing level of moral decadence especially among young people, which need to be checked to avoid a society of 'chaos'.
Stating from the observation of our organization, we realize the need for quick & planned intervention that will preserve the next generation. An average young person seems to lack the zeal for great & excellent work while some schools are lacking in the area of providing the support that can build resilience and grit in young children.
In the past six years our organization has worked with some schools by integrating our model into their school curriculum which has further impacted the thoughts and manners of these young minds.
We have taught on topics like- a bully is not a hero, be sincere, growing self control, name & tame your emotions, I can show respect, the leader in you, and more. Our curriculum built around these topics has emphasized on how the emotional & mental well being of a child can impact on his academic performance and social skills.
Our organization has provided support in the different areas that indicates the intervention needed at such times.
The solution proffered has helped to create an awareness and understanding that its not all pupils that are unwilling to learn, but been able to discover their mood and get them in the place of ease can help a child develop interest to learn academically.
To achieve high grade development in our society, learning especially among the young generation must transcend subject-based.
There is so much power in empowering the mindset of children that can start to set the tone for nation building as they begin to understand the importance of team work which is also a part of the solution and being compassionate at heart.
The family system also shares in the impact of this learning and solution because the pupils, especially you know children will always give report of their school activities.
We have received feedbacks from parents about how their children inform them of the appropriate things to as learned. The continuous practice of these solutions is an indication of greater hope to have young children that will grow to have excellent work ethics and build a great nation.
In recent times, it has been observed that mindset reshaping, character building, emotional wellness and social life skills are very essential for sustainability in a growing or developing society. The Education sector of any society must be armed with the right and needed tools to equip the young learners to understand their roles to the progress of a society, nation or industry even from a young age- and so Education cannot just be subject-based only.
There is need for quick intervention as there are more young people evolving in the society with a fraudulent mindset to enriching their selves and not ready to put in SMART work. The resilience power young people seem not be steady as some cower under pressure or take things personal where the need for emotional agility ought to be displayed.
Childhood trauma can cause depression and some other disorders which might be ignored at times by child wards when there is no awareness to the mental, emotional & social need of a child.
The need to have Educational management informed is critical to the achievement of the goal & aim of our organization, and so it is pertinent that school educators are also trained to become self aware and also recognize and demonstrate ways to develop the cognitive area of a child.
The need to develop and distribute more learning resources, train more counsellors that would be deployed to different regions and facilitate the trainings.

How can the educational body contribute to the holistic development of young children?
With the high level rate of economic meltdown that is really hitting hard in the African region, how can an average family sustain their livelihood without compromising their characters and may have a negative impact on young children depending on the out turn of event?
