What specific problem are you solving?
South Africa faces a youth unemployment crisis, with over 60% of young people aged 15-24 being unemployed. Many high school learners and unemployed matriculants lack access to career guidance, resources, and pathways to post-secondary education or employment. This lack of direction perpetuates cycles of poverty and inequality. Factors contributing to this issue include limited access to quality education, inadequate career counselling, and an overwhelming number of students who do not know where or how to pursue further studies or training. Globally, underserved youth face similar challenges, making scalable solutions like Reslocate critical for addressing these issues.
What is your solution?
Reslocate is an AI-driven platform that provides personalized career guidance and educational resources to South African high school learners, unemployed matriculants, and university students. The platform matches students with universities, colleges, scholarships, and entry-level job opportunities through advanced algorithms. It also offers access to past examination papers, career mapping tools, and skill development programs. Reslocate leverages data-driven insights to empower users with tailored pathways, ensuring they can confidently transition from high school to higher education or employment.
Who does your solution serve, and in what ways will the solution impact their lives?
Reslocate serves high school learners (grades 10-12), unemployed matriculants, and university students in South Africa, with a focus on underserved and underprivileged communities. These groups often lack access to career counselling and educational resources, leaving them vulnerable to unemployment and poverty.
