What specific problem are you solving?
In Latin America, millions of students face limited access to quality education due to socioeconomic disparities, outdated teaching methods, and a lack of resources. Many schools struggle with inadequate infrastructure, untrained educators, and minimal access to digital tools, widening learning gaps and limiting students' future opportunities. The digital divide further exacerbates these challenges, leaving students unprepared for the demands of the modern world. Ticmas addresses this problem by leveraging technology to bridge learning gaps and promote inclusive, high-quality education. Through its platform, Ticmas provides schools with educational software, personalized learning experiences, and STEAM-based methodologies to engage students effectively. Beyond infrastructure, Ticmas focuses on empowering teachers with training and digital tools to enhance their teaching strategies. By fostering digital literacy, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, Ticmas ensures students develop essential competencies for the 21st-century economy. Partnering with governments, corporations, and over 50 Latin American NGOs, Ticmas advances Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4), working to create a more equitable education system. "Education for Progress" program is shaping a future where every child, regardless of background, has the opportunity to reach their full potential through education, one school at a time, in Latin America.
What is your solution?
Through personalized learning pathways, Ticmas learning platform leverages artificial intelligence to adapt content to each student’s unique learning style and pace. The Fluency Reader App enhances reading skills through interactive exercises, improving comprehension and engagement. Ticmas also promotes lifelong learning opportunities, ensuring and educators have continuous access to valuable educational resources, no matter where they are located. The platform integrates STEAM education, fostering creativity and analytical skills. Additionally, flipped learning and project-based learning methodologies encourage students to tackle real-world challenges. It is important to point out that Ticmas can be used with limited internet access, since it has been created to adapt to Latin America´s reality, since half of the schools served are under the line of poverty (without continuous connectivity, and lacking electricity and/or running water). To reach these schools we partner with local NGOs that work in the territory, and with governments and local corporations which aim at improving quality education in their communities.
Who does your solution serve, and in what ways will the solution impact their lives?

Our solution aims at Creating a unique and meaningful teaching and learning experiences that drive the development of the educational community so that everyone can learn without limits and at their own pace, anytime and anywhere.
