What specific problem are you solving?
UNICEF reports that there are approximately 240 million children globally that are born with special-needs. The UNICEF report reveals that children with special needs are 49% less likely to have attended school, 42% less likely to have foundational reading and numeracy skills, 24% less likely to receive early stimulation and responsive care, and 51% more likely to feel unhappy. The issue is made worse by the worldwide lack of special education facilities and qualified teachers, particularly in developing nations like Pakistan, where there are only about 1,000 special education institutions, to serve a population of 2.5 million disabled children. 42 states in industrialized nations like the United States claim a deficit of special educators. Furthermore, traditional teaching and therapeutic approaches are frequently boring, unengaging, and ineffectual. Research indicates that in order to enhance results, AR and AI-based treatments are required. This is immediately addressed by WonderTree, which turns conventional approaches into dynamic, captivating augmented reality and artificial intelligence-powered games that make learning and therapy accessible, affordable, and successful with just a laptop, webcam, and internet connection. Soon, it will also be compatible with phones and tablets.
What is your solution?
WonderTree uses augmented reality (AR) to gamify learning and therapy, addressing the issues of accessibility and affordability in physiotherapy and education for kids with special needs. Our technology eliminates the need for costly hardware or specialized facilities by transforming boring activities into entertaining, captivating, and scientifically supported augmented reality games that only require a computer, webcam, and internet connection we are making it applicable for phones and tablets to make it more accessible and remove a big barrier (having a laptop/pc and a webcam). This will allow WonderTree to be implemented in more schools, households, and institutions, especially in remote and underprivileged areas. We support the cognitive, motor, and educational development of children with impairments, such as those with autism, ADHD, and cerebral palsy. To make inclusive education and therapy widely accessible, our target users include parents, special education institutions, therapists, and hospitals. WonderTree lowers expenses by 70% compared to specialized education and is 80% less expensive than traditional physiotherapy. With more than 15,000 children affected, our solution promotes inclusive healthcare and education worldwide by bridging the gap between quality and accessibility. here's a product demo video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WrQawmYkst8
Who does your solution serve, and in what ways will the solution impact their lives?
WonderTree primarily focuses on improving the lives of children with special needs (including ADHD, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Developmental Coordination Disorder, and other neurodevelopmental challenges) by offering accessible, affordable, and effective gamified educational and physiotherapy exercises. These clinically proven exercises support children aged 4–14 with mild to moderate disabilities in developing motor, cognitive, social-emotional, and educational skills. In addition to benefiting children, WonderTree addresses challenges faced by those closely associated with special education: Households (Parents & Caregivers): Struggle with the cost and access to special education. Existing services are expensive and scarce, placing emotional and financial strain on families. WonderTree offers affordable, online access that’s easy to use at home, reducing this burden. Special Education Schools: Face high infrastructure and training costs. WonderTree reduces dependency on specialized infrastructure and highly trained staff by offering interactive, easy-to-use games that support learning with minimal assistance. Hospitals & Therapy Centers: Often rely on boring and tiring conventional methods. WonderTree’s fun, engaging games motivate children, making therapy more effective with less effort from professionals. WonderTree works through the web browser on just a laptop , or a tablet and soon on mobile phones as well, making it accessible
