What specific problem are you solving?
Libya’s youth face high unemployment rates, lack of access to STEM education, and limited opportunities for future-ready skills. With over 60% of Libya’s population under 30, the country risks losing a generation to economic stagnation if they are not equipped with the skills to compete in the global workforce. The education system lacks practical, tech-driven learning, leaving young people unprepared for careers in engineering, robotics, AI, and other emerging industries. Additionally, gender gaps in STEM and barriers for students in underserved communities further limit opportunities. Globally, the demand for STEM jobs is projected to grow by 8% by 2029, yet Libya lags in preparing its workforce. Without intervention, Libya risks falling behind in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. LYBOTICS is solving this problem by providing hands-on robotics education, mentorship, and career-building opportunities, ensuring that Libya’s youth can access high-quality training, compete globally, and contribute to a stronger economy.

LYBOTICS serves students aged 6-25, with a focus on high school and university-level youth who lack access to quality STEM education and career pathways. • 3,000+ students across Libya have already benefited from our robotics competitions, coding academies, and mentorship programs. • 40%+ of our participants are young women, breaking gender barriers in STEM. • We reach students from underserved communities, ensuring access regardless of geography or socioeconomic status. Through LYBOTICS, students gain skills in engineering, AI, robotics, and leadership, making them competitive in global tech and innovation fields. Many have already secured scholarships, started STEM careers, or launched their own initiatives.
