What specific problem are you solving?
Glorious is tackling the global crisis of poor care quality and workforce burnout in eldercare. Most care is delivered by undertrained, overworked care workers. - 90% are migrant workers and they serve a rapidly aging population. - The global population over 65 will double by 2050 - 70% of caregivers report high stress and emotional exhaustion - The WHO estimates a shortfall of 10 million health workers by 2030, disproportionately affecting eldercare. Asia is particularly interesting since it hosts both the fastest aging countries and emerging economies where care workers are coming from. Today care organizations struggle with outdated systems, fragmented workflows, and language barriers, leading to errors, missed care, and regulatory risks. Families lack transparency. Caregivers feel unsupported. Everyone loses. Glorious solves this by combining AI and voice tech to streamline care planning, automate reporting, and support caregivers in their native language. Doing so, we reduce admin time, increase accuracy, and improve staff retention. Our system enables organizations to deliver better care to more seniors with the same resources, starting in Southeast Asia, where the challenge is most urgent. By focusing on usability, empathy, and trust, we’re building tools that empower frontline teams, transforming eldercare from the inside out.
What is your solution?
Glorious is an AI-powered eldercare operations platform built for eldercare teams. It helps caregivers spend less time on paperwork and more time with seniors, by letting them speak care notes in their own language. Our system transcribes these voice notes, translates them into English, and uses AI to summarize key actions, critical risks, and care plan updates. This dramatically speeds up reporting, improves accuracy, makes data instantly usable and insightful for care coordinators, and brings peace of mind to the families. Care managers get real-time dashboards, automated care plans, and compliance-ready reports, all generated from frontline input. Families receive simple summaries, with the option to include pictures or videos of their loved ones. Technically, we use OpenAI’s Whisper model for multilingual voice transcription, GPT models for multimodal summarization and insight generation, and Supabase for secure data storage in Singapore. Everything is optimized for low-tech environments: voice-first for caregivers, text-first for managers, and mobile-friendly for all. Glorious is already being co-developed with care providers in Southeast Asia to ensure it’s practical, delightful, and trustworthy. We build where the pain is.
Who does your solution serve, and in what ways will the solution impact their lives?
Glorious is built for frontline care workers in Southeast Asia. They deliver the majority of eldercare but are the most underserved professionals in healthcare. They have limited education, speak different languages than their clients, and face high levels of stress, burnout, and invisibility. They’re expected to document care in English, follow complex care plans, and meet compliance standards...using pen and paper. We save them 2hrs every day and as we've heard from a client during a demo: "Wow this is amazing". We also serve care managers, who struggle to coordinate teams, ensure quality, and report to regulators with outdated systems, and families, who are often left in the dark about how their loved ones are doing. As we're heard: "If we keep operating like this, I'm sure it will break down at some point" Our AI handles transcription, translation, and summarization, therefore removing barriers, reducing stress, and making them feel seen and supported. Managers get accurate, real-time data to improve care quality and efficiency. Families receive clear updates that build trust. By designing for caregivers first, we uplift the entire care ecosystem, improving lives at the frontline while enabling organizations to scale care safely and compassionately.
