What specific problem are you solving?
Goal 4 of the 2030 Agenda aims to provide equitable, quality education for all. However, over 240 million children with disabilities worldwide face barriers due to inaccessible content, a lack of personalized instruction, and inadequate teacher training. Financial and technological constraints further limit access in regions like MENA and the Global South. Key2enable bridges this gap with AI-powered assistive technology, providing adaptive tools like the Key-X keyboard and Expressia to create inclusive, personalized learning experiences. By making education accessible, engaging, and tailored to individual needs, Key2enable empowers students with motor, cognitive, and sensory impairments to overcome barriers, stay in school, and gain the skills necessary for a more independent and sustainable future.
What is your solution?
We aim to empower students with disabilities through Expressia, a play-based learning platform, and Key-X, an adaptive keyboard. Expressia personalizes education by curating accessible learning content tailored to individual needs, combining various curriculums, natural language processing, and machine learning. It supports multi-sensory learning, incorporating text-to-speech, gamified exercises, and real-time progress tracking to enhance engagement and retention.
Key-X allows students with motor impairments to control digital devices using light touch, adaptive switches, or facial gestures, with its accessories, ensuring seamless interaction with educational tools. Our solution integrates with existing school systems, training educators and caregivers to create inclusive classrooms.
By bridging accessibility gaps, Key2enable fosters independence, cognitive development, and social inclusion, ensuring every student can learn and thrive regardless of ability.

Who does your solution serve, and in what ways will the solution impact their lives?
We serve students with disabilities, including those with cerebral palsy, autism, Down syndrome, motor impairments, and learning differences. These students often struggle with traditional education due to limited accessibility, inadequate teaching methods, and a lack of assistive technology. Many are excluded from digital learning, reducing their chances of academic and social development.
Our solution directly serves educators and caregivers, equipping them with training and tools to create accessible, engaging, and effective learning experiences. Altogether, Expressia and Key-X aim to empower thousands of students with disabilities, fostering independence, cognitive growth, and inclusion in education.
